You can remove anodizing with oven cleaner or whisk rust remover. Much easier and leaves a cleaner surface when you're done.

Nice work Raz. Yeah we all have those RC projects that we probably shouldn't have taken on. One of mine was a HPI 5b Baja. It turned out to be converted from gas to electric (badly) and I paid wayyy too much for it. Also the deeper I dove the more things needed fixing, so I spent quite a bit doing a complete retso on it. Meanwhile another electric 5b came on the market (really good nick) so I bought that and gave the one I restored to my son.

Good attention to detail man. I like that. i find most people don't understand it, because they can't do it, or lack the passion to do it. My saying. You can't rush quality. After it's all done. That's what makes someone stand out among the rest. When it comes to attention to detail. The more. The better. It's great to see, I'm not the only one that believes that. Awesome.

You should see my latest build. ARMA OutCast 6S. Detailed inside out 100%. Even glows in the dark. Something different, something new. I'm pretty sure, the only one like it anywhere. I posted it on my KZbin channel. "Jeff Factor RC" RC stands for Really Cool.

The joke about Superglue is rather unusual for you, Raz. When you talk about the RC object, you're usually very serious.

Yeah it's a gamble buying used. I've been burned before. It was not worth it. New is better 👍🤣. Good work in rebuilding that thing. I love my EXB K8S 👍. Super glue in the middle? Nah, I don't like my center diff completely or almost completely locked up. 20 million stock is fine for me personally so that it's not so hard on the drivetrain.

How crap this is sick looking. Looks like it's time to start sanding and polishing. I wonder how long it would take to actually polish it completely. Im About to pull out some more serious power tools for this one LMAO 😂 but it perfect for a visual upgrade and to stand apart from others. And it would look so sick to see it really polished up.

Was trying to buy a new one a few weeks back but my local hobby shop said All their 1/5 scale Arrma's had been recalled by Arrma? something to do with having asbestos in some components or something?don't know if there's any truth in that as I never looked it up,so I bought an x-maxx instead and it's been a little bit of a money pit ever since lol
