In this video I present to you a recipe that is over 100 years old and has been passed down through generations. Discover the secrets and traditions that have helped this recipe to stand the test of time. Have fun making it and enjoying it!

📋 INGREDIENTS:
Dough:
• 300 ml lukewarm milk (approx. 1 1/4 cups)
• 20 g fresh yeast (approx. 0.7 oz)
• 100 g sugar (approx. 1/2 cup)
• 600 g all-purpose flour (about 5 cups)
• 1 egg
• 50 g butter (approx. 3 1/2 tablespoons)
Filling:
• 750 g cottage cheese (about 3 cups)
• 200 g 30% sour cream (approx. 3/4 cup)
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 16 g vanilla sugar (approx. 4 teaspoons).
→ 100 years ago real vanilla bean extract was used, I have adapted this recipe slightly.
• 100 g icing sugar (approx. 1 cup)
For smearing:
• Vegetable oil
• Melted butter
• Powdered sugar
• Baking: 160°C (320°F) for 20-25 minutes with convection
• Baking pan diameter: 29 cm x 33 cm (approx. 11.5 inches x 13 inches)

Tvarohové buchty! U nás v Čechách jsou velmi oblíbené. Moje babička dávala do toho rozpuštěného másla ještě lžíci rumu a pak to potírala. Výborné! Děkuji! ❤

Hi! I'm a 67 years old Hungarian woman from New York!🥰 I like your videos and I like baking too! My mother made this, but she made the open tipe. The name is "turos batyu"👍🥰😋 She pintched together the four corners on the top and before baking washed with egg! ❤ She never used cinnamon in the cheese feeling! These is my favorite thing too so I baking it, how I learned from my mom!👍🥰 Good luck!🥰
