Old recipe for stewed beef with potatoes and vegetables, which has been passed down from generation to generation.
Every country has its own recipe for stewed meat. Here I show you an old and traditional way of making stewed beef in the North of Spain.
What part of the beef should I use to make a good stew?
The best option is to ask an experienced butcher. I can recommend the beef hip part, it is the one I usually use, but it is possible to make a delicious stew with other cuts of meat.

What ingredients do I need for this recipe?
Beef, one kilo (recipe for 4 people).
Potatoes, one kilo.
A small cabbage.
Red wine, a small glass.
An onion.
3 garlic cloves.
Fresh parsley.
Rustic bread.
Olive oil, sweet paprika, cumin, nutmeg, pepper and salt.
