Worked amazingly. Did not have rice bag, so on the surface placed a dry cloth and used an iron on high heat. Dried out the moisture and the stain was gone. Thanks for the solution

Man o man I tried everything before this....perfume... shaving cream... barkeepers friend...furniture polish and more. So once i realized what it was (hand sanitizer stain) I understood this is trapped moisture. What better way to disepate moisture? HEAT....this solution worked like a charm took a couple times on one stain but it removed absolutely everything without damage. Do not use Thinner or rubbing alcohol simply use this method and I guarantee it will work 100%

No - that's a chemical reaction of the tannins in the wood and iron in the water. Oxalic acid (wood bleach) can reverse the reaction.

fabric filled with rice and sewn together. some people use them as a diy heating pad for pain relief. if you want to make one and don’t know how to sew you can fill a sock with rice and tie it at the end. hope this helps
