I can't watch this performance without an extended smile, on multiple occasions, from pure joy and uncontrollable tears. I believe the tears are from witnessing an evocative, truly professional, absolutely perfect, transcendent performance. I don't know. My reaction has not changed in 20 viewings over 3 months.

Brian May said this Isle of Wight performance was one for the ages or something to that effect. Also, check out his solo video of “Time for Miracles”. And as he performed this beautiful rendition of “Believe” to honor Cher, there is a wonderful video of “Teacher” for a George Michaels tribute that is stripped down and raw like “Believe”. Hi Nathan, I feel you feeling this version of Believe! I think I've watched this performance hundreds (if not thousands) of times, and Every Single Time I get chills, my breath is taken away, and I cry. There are two performances by singers covering someone else's song that will far outlive us, this performance by Adam Lambert is the best of them, and a very close second is Aretha Franklin covering for Pavarotti (who fell ill and couldn't sing), when she sang Nessun Dorma LIVE at the 1998 Grammys. I was shaken and rattled by both of them!

Adam Lambert's voice is a GIFT from GOD himself! My HEART was his ever since I first heard him here on KZbin singing on Season 8 of American Idol and I can't get ENOUGH of him and his GOLDEN Voice.
