lana, there is a meaning behind this game. you would notice that at the end of every mini-game that the girl does,she always cries. the cup of water is actually the girl’s tears and you use it to feed it to the plant. after the plant fully grows, you finally get a friend which is called “bloom”. the meaning of this game is to turn your sadness into something that makes you happy.

Theory about Bloom/Lola notice how she has a love letter during the walking level, She seems to be blushing during the level which tells me that bloom likes Blossom since she seems to be the only nice one and is the only one who shows up in the ending when the door is open so I'm guessing bloom likes Blossom but was to afraid to confess to her which is why she tripped and fell and why Blossom comforts her saying "it's ok bloom" (I might be wrong but just a theory about this)

the reason why th girl cries its because a real event happend in this game the girl with yellow hair is blossom and the pink one was bloom one of them died at sleep bloom surived and kept seeing disturbing figures her goal was to get the plant friend.
