This Rs 999 ($12) Watch from Citizen is my new Analog Daily Beater!

Namaste Everybody!
We are taking a short break from Casio to visit Citizen and its sub-brand by looking at this resin-based analog sports watch. I was quite amazed at the find. This was an impulse purchase because the specs looked good on paper and when the watch arrived it almost met my expectations. It is with its flaws but for Rs 999 this is one of my greatest finds. I own a similar looking Q&Q diver's style watch with N/R bezel. The caseback looks identical.(10BAR) They aren't generous with product info...There was no model code and I couldn't find it on their website.It's the cheapest watch I own. In South Africa Q&Q is roughly half the price of comparable Casios! It's super comfy, absolutely brilliant for the price, my favourite watch to wear after MQ24/27. PLEASE DO MORE Q&Q REVIEWS.

They have a cool collection of watches but like Casio they don't have enough stock in most places. I was checking Amazon Japan and I was amazed at what they offer for half the price of Casio watches. I might look into it.✌️

Heartfelt thanks to Q&Q/Citizen for not making this watch more appealing than a similar diver style watch from a certain other Japanese brand which also has a bidirectional bezel and day-date window, at similar price point. I’m not going to be poorer by Rs 1K and I’ll continue to cherish that watch which happens to be my most inexpensive, but most worn watch ! I know I’m biased towards “that other” Japanese brand, but if I were to make a recommendation about your future purchases from “this particular brand” solely based on the review of this particular Watch, then “Please don’t “, but again there maybe quite a few stunning watches from this brand and also Majority decision rules !!

I went into this with an open mind. It might not be up there with the MRW-200H but I am happy with this watch - a good daytime watch. There's isn't a large stock for Q&Q watches in India like Casio has but there few that they have they look quality.

I bought this watch in 2014 for 359/- still works like a charm, gives accurate time and has retained its water resistant capability.

I’m still using an original citizen wrist watch with steel case and stainless steel back and bracelet and also having a black dial with date window, fully mechanical and hand wound for the last 50 years. Until now it has never undergone any sort of service or repair. Keeps an accuracy level of 80- 90 seconds slower in a month. This watch was bought from the sales outlet of citizen watch factory, Japan in the year 1974- September.

I first bought a Q&Q because that watch had 150 Lap Memory option at 1100rs which was a shock for me since I had also purchased Timex’s Ironman with 30 Lap memory. Q&Q’s design might sometimes look similar to Casio and I assure you the quality is quite similar. And yeah….I have been using that watch since 2018.

Citizen Ecodrive series. There are a few. Check out the BM7450. You can't go wrong with a Bambino. You will have a neat little dress watch that's automatic and value for money. Seiko 5 Sports SRPD63k1

Based on this one watch I have to agree- it is tough. It's not even a G-shock and it survived a couple of drops on a hard surface. I can't wait to explore more offerings from this brand

I have got F91w and a mrw 200H... mrw 200H is still a better choice in case of Day and Date .. Rotate bezel and wr 100 and the Brand name... This one is good too . Who ever is not getting a casio.. can get this.. My goat 200H❤❤

At this point im starting to think that EPSON gave both Casio and Q&Q the designs to make a watch its just that Q&Q takes quite a long time to release cause of the quality and improvements that casio forsakes for the sake of an early release. Or... I dont know man most Q&Q watches are just old casios with steel casings and sapphire crystals.
