Standing heavy punch is usually the one to use after heavy DP. Other than that, there aren’t other ways to use it (as far as I remember). There are a bunch of other meaty setups that don’t involve standing heavy punch though

I feel like every time I go for a poke with my stand medium kick, I end up getting hit by DI, but every time I go for a DI against someone else's stand medium kick, they end up being able to DI back in time. Any advice?

It’s basically all luck. It depends on if they DI you early or late into it. I say keep using standing medium kick unless you see your opponent has a habit of doing DI and start baiting it. I suggest not doing DI to other players because there’s always a big risk of players reacting back.

0:18 Why'd you say you didn't do that? Don't be like DSP lol. Were you just too slow on the buffer? Do you have negative edge on? If I remember right, you can turn it off on this game. Perhaps you got a tatsu activation from it?

I said it because I actually didn’t do it. The input system is very lenient in this game, so lots of things can come out when you don’t mean them to. I have negative edge off since the start of the game, but that’s a different thing
