If you curve the front of the wing up then taper down to the back it would help with the ability to fly and reduce the thrust needed

Bernoulli's principle helps explain that an aircraft can achieve lift because of the shape of its wings. They are shaped so that that air flows faster over the top of the wing and slower underneath. Plus if you reverse the wing and tail aerofoils, you could generate a lot more lift and still roll. also a rudder needs to be used to gain yaw {ie turning) Keep the bottom of the wing flat and make the top curved, that will create actual lift. Also u have propellers so why use jets?

@23:20 I think you need to move those 2 rockets ahead about a foot and up about half a foot, that should balance thta out nicely.. also, it looks like the air flow isnt really feeding into your tail very well, you should extend the plane slightly, readjust the rockets again to be banaced propperly, then add in a tail fin rotation key, to help with turning...

When planes take off, they don't just use the rear rudders for lift do they? Can you have something where all 4 are on W and S but only the front ones have A and D? Might help with takeoffs?

Next time try to make your wings 3 dimensional: Wings work because the air has to travel more distance on top of the wing than it has to do under the wing, so it creates an upward depression, your plane gets sucked up. And the sucking up has to compensate the weight of your plane for you to fly good enough. Try looking on the internet for wing shapes

Your plane tilts down because of your wing placement and size. The front wing goes a bit more forward and the tailfin should be smaller Also when they add guns or something like that you can make dogfighters

Hey scrapman I think the aircraft was not having enough lift To remedy this just make the wing at a more extreme angle . Irl the aircrafts have flaps that the pilots operate during takeoff and that increases the angle The loss You WILL have reduced speed tho Hope this helps

i want an episode where you Science(!) the aerodynamics of the game. for instance, IRL wings tend to be for pitch and the Tail for roll, maybe that would help? Maybe make the flaps out of something else so they cause more drag? Also changing the position of the jets, like under/over the wings on/in the tail, that kind of stuff. Try other means of providing momentum other then jets. Or instead of all that just make a quad-copter! XD

Put the thrusters lower. I think your center of thrust needs to be closer, if not under your center of lift. My Kerbal space program knowledge is limited, but it might be applicable.

I want to say nice, congrats on the plane but man it bothered me so much you created it like this XD .... i mean you don't really need yaw so tail is fine ... but you were having so many problems because (maybe yes the wheels were heavy but ) you are using the tail to lift .... not the wings ... that will only give you subtle turning because it's at the back and it's pushing the craft down which angles the nose but does not turn the plane up (you're pushing it into the ground like a spoiler XD) yes military planes do use this but problems are it limits the pitch to just being a subtle change, it's actually more used for stability at higher speeds so the planes don't flip out not lower speeds. Often these planes have flaps or angle the wing planes to take off at launch and then reset them for flight. Personally i use my controls reverse to yours but in this game it may be worth it to use both or the front flaps and adjust the angles to be smaller so it doesn't flip out. However if there is that issue where you can't do yaw and pitch on the same pieces it may be worth adding canards or two sets of flaps on the wings Also i nearly forgot your engines are not flat to the axis .... on almost every plane, exaggerating those turning maneuvers. Not trying to take away from the cool build just ... questioning why it is the way it is.

@10:50 Im wondering why you didnt use rockets and try to actually skii down? Instead of using wheels?? Use your arms to swing to keep you perfectly balanced as you Skii down :-D Also add some gears in the keens and ankles and hips to be able to lower or higher your center of gravity for flips :-D
