Ok MM you had me making the frittata, and now I'm about to make pita with chicken and tzatizki sauce .. thanks for making me wanna cook things I've never cooked or haven't cooked in a long time❤❤❤❤❤.and dunno if I commented on the quit KZbin vid... But people think KZbin comments sections are a personal place to let their anger out.. it's not!!! And I hope that changes!! If we're all afraid to show our true selves and our problems like you do, then everyone on KZbin would be fake like all the others... We are not .. (I don't post on this channel anymore, but I talk on another channel)... Think of these demons who talk crap as such and don't allow them to make you feel how they do... We all have our own battles .. you're just keeping it real and that's more than most people can dare do and so they talk crap from behind anonymous or faceless accounts in their homes. .easy to do! They're what's wrong with the world! Keep on MM!!! ❤❤❤

We don't have anything like Aldi in BC Canada. Boy did I have tomato envy. I love tomatos and that one was so perfectly ripe. Artichoke/spinach dip is best with warm tortilla chips or even better fry some pita bread for pita chips.

There is a Greek restaurant in my area that serves grilled Lamb, Beef, and Chicken kebabs, they serve it on a fresh salad of greens with a chopped cucumber, tomato, and onion relish, all freshly chopped, and serve it with Tzatziki and pita bread. I put the sauce on the salad and scoop it up with the pita, Mmmm, delicious. I looked up the pronunciation, and it's like zat-zeek-ee😂

Every time I watch your cooking videos I think to myself, “That cast iron pan cooking is the best …so why don’t I have one😐”???
@joyceclark81636 күн бұрын
I have several in different sizes...I am 62 yes old..was brought up using cast iron skillets ..they're the best..you can't beat them if you want to sear your meat..steaks the best way to prepare them or to caramelize veggies..get you one..make sure even though it might say it's preseasoned..(which is what you want) but season it yourself..grease the inside of the skillet..bake in the oven on low heat for a few hours..Do not ever put soap in you skillet to cleanse it..after every use ..make sure your skillet is completely dry always..putting it in the oven is a good way to dry it ..then make sure after your skillet is dry .grease it up everytime to prevent it from rusting
@shelleyshell94416 күн бұрын
@@joyceclark8163 thanks so much for sharing this information! Yes, as a child growing up, my mother and grandmother only used cast iron skillets. Then as an adult, the new age non stick pans came along, and I never used a cast iron skillet myself ever. So your response is extremely helpful for me to know what to do to get started!!

I love this idea! I make my own pitas and tzatziki sauce but buy gyro meat at a wholesale store starting with C. My favorite tzatziki sauce is with Good & Gather whole milk greek yogurt, salt, minced cucumber and garlic, olive oil and lemon juice, dill and mint. The longer it sits the better it tastes. My son likes gyros with greek salad (romaine, sliced cucumbers, red onion, tomatoes and feta cheese dressed with tzatziki sauce.) I've tried chicken before with lemon flavoring but I baked it instead of pan fry. My chicken was too dry and my son prefers gyro meat from C.

Tzatziki is not the spice, but the sauce or dip made with yogurt, cucumbers, and a few additional ingredients . The spice bottle labeled "Tzatziki" is just a convenient combination of the added spices. It's used in all types of Mediterranean food.

Homemade Turkish tzatziki: smash some garlic, and also cucumbers or cut them in cubes. Mix them with natural Greek Joghurt. Add water to thin the Joghurt. Salt/ pepper as you like. A little bit of olive oil. Keep it in the fridge and eat it with grilled meat dishes during summer. Or serve as a kind of salad. You can add dill or Turkish mint to it.
@joycewedel90846 күн бұрын
I love Mayo so I would have to mix some with the Dill Dip to put on my sandwich. I bet those would be easier to eat in a pita pocket to keep everything inside the sandwich. Sliced dill pickles would also taste fabulous inside.
