@DavidTheScientist Жыл бұрын
Made it last night, and I definitely concur! Only thing was that the chicken inside shrunk compared to the batter, which made them separate a bit, not sure if that's because I didn't break down the membrane enough. Anyways, because I used smaller breasts I had leftover trimmings from making one each, so I've left them in the marinade for 24h and will cook them as chicken tenders tonight!

We started using our new dutch oven (Christmas gift) and while looking for recipes, this video came up. We made Beef Bourguignon and it came out amazing. Since it takes 1 hour of driving to get to and from a chick fil a, we are definitely going to try this. I hope using Avocado oil instead of peanut oil, using a combination of vinegar, lemon juice, and whole milk in place of buttermilk, grinding a combination of granulated sugar and cornstarch for the powdered sugar, and using minced fresh garlic with cumin will still make it come out ok. What a crunch! I appreciate the respect shown to our service members. God bless!

That prepping process seriously made me hungry just looking at it, and the result is outright beautiful to look at. I like that the ingredients for the most part are rather accessible to normal people, and the cooking method can be replicated with standard things pretty much every kitchen should have. If that sandwich is a typical example of what you do here, then the channel's popularity is deserved.

My Grandpa taught me the right way to say Worcestershire sauce, and how it was invented: A guy is eating in a restaurant. He calls the waiter over, and says, "Hey! Whatsthisheresauce?" Love your methods, & great advice. I love that you brine the chicken, first. People just don't do that. They'd never go back, if they just tried it once. I've never tried pickle juice with the buttermilk. I've been struggling with fried chicken. Can't wait to try this recipe! Thanks!

@@LemonLoverCockatielNot a great excuse. I joined the Airforce a year or so ago and it’s set me up for a great career by teaching me a trade, giving me pay and benefits, and generally just learning to improve myself. There are very many jobs in the military as a whole that are very limited risk, and fighting and dying is very, very unlikely to be asked of you (such as in my career), and if I were to be asked to fight, then it’s because we are in a very difficult war. So I wouldn’t turn it away so easily, it could be for you. I would look into it if I were you.
