As a person who was raised Satmar I'm happy that people like you are helping us show what Satmar Judaism actually is

Fabulous interview. Goldy seems like a professional, intelligent, beautiful, confident, content Orthodox woman. Proud of her background and her choices and proud of her community and values. Thanks for showing us a little bit of the 'other story.'

I can relate to dealing with outside opinion of my faith community. I'm Christian and I hear people complain about women not being able to be pastors. I think I speak for most Christian women when I say I have no desire to be a pastor and do not consider myself inferior. Of course there exists misuse of the Bible and toxicity in church organizations. We see it exposed just like other communities, and it should be addressed. But men and women are different and having complementary roles is beautiful and essential for healthy families

16:00 Is the key 🔑 They say a joke about the Satmer community that a modern yid told one of them how will you make it in life without a college degree? The Satmerer replied, I will hire the college educated folks (if I need it). Meanwhile the Satmerer has made it big while the modern yid is still working with a regular salary The moral of the story, success in business has very little to do with a higher education and more with a person’s work ethics

Jew in the city seems to be totally unaware of how the chassdic families live. They are open and have all the possibilities as everyone else these days..on every level . Its 2021 and things have changed tremendously.

There is no one “chasidic” way of life. There is a diverse experience. We’re trying to show that. But it is not monolithic for being closed off or being integrated and a lot of people mistakenly think their reality IS reality.

I am a Noahide. I grew up in "that other" religion, and always wanted to understand truth. Thanks to the work of orthodox Jews, I "tagged" along to learn Tanakh. I have a deep gratitude to the Satmar community for helping me understand more about Zionism.

All of a sudden the world forgot what is a line NOT from a Jewish source.....'hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world'. For gen's the non Jewish world understood this......only in recent decades has the been stomped upon.
