That's right. Because according to Islam, angels don't like stingy places and foul smells. You can keep dogs ONLY when necessary for your safety but they have to stay outside where you don't spread their saliva in your house. Example, in the yard since once their saliva touched the soil, the bacteria will be dead instantly.

In the Brahmasutra of Vedanta it is stated that there is only one God, there is no 2nd one. The essence of God cannot be measured at all.

Guys let me tell you my story which related to this case. I am a muslim but i used to ignore this hadith istagfirullah and i was not used to bother to close to the dog,So once up on a time i was waking on the side road from work to the house. While i was waking a came to a street dog which gave birth before 2 days and then when i try to pass by she terrified and jump at me and bite me when she saw me i didn't scared she lefts me and ran back. Because she bites me just little bit on my leg so, i just ignored it and kept my woking to the house. So, i just i arrived to the house and while i was just relaxing because i was little tired at work.then my roommate came after one hour so while we just having a conversation i told him that i got bite by street dog. When he heard that he just said "did her tooth enter or touch your skin" i said yes, but its not that much just relax bro" and he said " oo No that is so bad we have to go to nearest health center" then i laughed😂 and said " bro i am just fine why you even think about health center. To finish long story short he sat on couch and told me everything related to dog saliva. And also this hadith. So i just scared and we decided to go to hospital and went quickly to nearest health center.Then when we arrived they gave me some medicine and they quickly gave me emergency letter to the hospital. its at that moment when i imagined my life changed sadly from a laugh and happiness to sad and thinking of about my fate😢. Then when we arrived to recommended hospital they start emergency preventive treatment because at the time they can't investigate whether the dog bite me was infected or not. So after that they ordered me to came and injected the treatment on stomach daily for about a month regularly. I am born muslim but after that incident i can say that i converted to islam again because of this hadith about saliva of the dog. Alhmdulila after that i never ever mess with the hadith and i will never take it for granted insha Allah.My muslim brother and sister please make dua for me to steadfast on this din until akhira. Wallahi this is my true story

I never had a dog but I've knew it for a long time now. I've watched a documentary about that woman who lost her limbs, both arms i think. From a dog's lick. I saw this on YT. The bacteria started to eat slowly her arms. It's quiet rare, compared to rabies disease, bit it exists and is documented.
