If you dont have any mew ex you can also add the new salandit. New salandit also have the venoshock skill and its a fire type that can counter celebi's early aggression.

That's what I'm doing tbh! Had a Weezing opener while starting, poison>koga>Salandit, I chunked Celebi down to 60 and it was dead next turn, so fun tbh!

Scolipede its actually fun and better to play, I replace it with Nidoking because it doesn't require much energy to attack.

Xatumi my friend suggested me a deck and I'm having lota of fun with it! x2 Druddigon x2 Bruxish x2 Greninja Line x2 X Speed x2 Pokeball x2 Professor X2 Leaf x1 Sabrina x1 Potion Mono Water energy Druddigon tanks early and deals dmg back, setting up Bruxish's empowered attack. In mid/late game Greninja does the same from the bench. It's way funnier than I thought! Another one is Chatot + fossils only (Kabutops and Aerodactyl EX, with helix fossils as fodder you can place down and discard to refresh your hand with Chatot) but the world's not ready for that...

Man I love the video, but if I could make a suggestion, consider 1-2 X Speeds! It's better in this deck I think, since Mew has 1 retreat cost and Scolipede just 2! I made some nasty plays with 2 koga in hands where I poison>koga>Scolipede for 120, then they bring in the next guy, X-Speed retreat > Weezing poison again > Koga > Energy to scolipede and kill them again with only 2 energies attached, not needing to build up 3 energies before to make this play! EDIT: minute 18:05 exactly what I was talking about lol!

Also at least one budding expeditioner if it's not there (I don't think I saw one?) It's SO much more value to take a weakened pokemon out of play rather that retreat, especially a decently bulky EX like mew

@ point about it imo is you should never place down Mew unless you're into a M2/Zard matchup or think it can win u the game. I can't see anything I'd drop in favor of expeditioner tbh.

agree with MewEx is great in most decks. I run one copy to upgrade my Weezie/Arbok deck. now it can deal with those heavy hitters much easier. (blastoid/charizard/mewtwo EXs, dragonites, etc)

Try the new salandit as a filler. Good against grass types and gets a solid bonus against poisoned mons.

You need 2x leaf in this, helps with bouncing around more, and 1 salandit you can just keep bouncing in and out giving 50 damage for 1 energy

I think the coffing that pulls out the other one is cool, but that increased retreat cost is a little steep for me. If you get this in the active and build up Scoliopede on the bench, you might need to waste an extra turn or a Prize Point to get it to active. Not to mention the devastating chance of you not pulling a wheezing and someone sabrinaing you

So it’s the same like Muk Weezing. Only difference is that atack from basic stage of Muk? Edit and one energy less and this have three stages and muk only two so minimum are three rounds anyway to get him online. Muk can be saved by Koga, this one not. Sooo. I thing I will keep using muk.

I'm sorry it's just my opinion but Scolipede sucks hard. It's a stage 2 pokemon and is only good if you manage to poison someone, so it's only against one pokemon. Anything other than that and he does mediocre damage for a stage 2 poke. At least Muk is a stage 1 poke

Skill issue. Its why I run x1 grimer for consistency and surprise then with leaf bounce. Salandit is better than Mew for more pressure vs Celebi decks. Ive been winning around 75% with only one copy of Scoli...(Bec gacha) Losing to only Blaine decks hard and on curve Serperior.
