There is a hard floor nozzle and also a parquette nozzle that you can attach instead of the powerhead... That Felix, in particular, is provided with the bare floor/carpet tool by default. If you had adjusted the powerhead height to setting 3 instead of 2 it would have picked up the little stones with no problem as well... What you have shown is efficient only if you need to clean under the furniture or under the bed where the cleaner itself would struggle to reach.

Oh yes I know that, but having extra hose makes it way more convenient to use.

How does the Felix perform with deep carpet cleaning/airflow at the power head vs. the E3 or D4 --- does the shorter distance between the motor and power head give it an advantage? Thank you for your videos!

It's very similar compared to the E3 and D4. If I remember correctly Felix has a bit more airflow than the canister versions.
