I just bought a Titleist u505 with a graphite shaft and this video confirms I made the correct choice because I almost bought the steel. Thanks James

Would be interesting to see if the results are same with a cheap stock graphite shaft instead of expensive upcharge

AD-DI is the best shaft for hybrids and Utility Irons, played it for years in my 2 hybrids. Worth the money.

I would like to see a standard graphite shaft vs the tour ad. By the way if you wouldn't turn your left foot towards the hole you could have a bigger back swing and make your left knee more happy. I do the complete opposite, I turn the left foot towards the middle of the stand. Should try it out. Cheers

Would have been nice if the up charge price was supplied, enjoyed the video

Ball speed is down v graphite . Launch is lower and spin jumps all over with the steel shaft ..
@paulgoy9325Ай бұрын
What was the price for the upgrade James you never told us
@brandons4301Ай бұрын
Like 349.00 US for that AD-DI shaft
@lurker403Ай бұрын
On golfworks Canada, the driving iron version is only $170 cad so like $120 usd

Was there a difference in shaft weight and swing weight between the 2? Your swing with the graphite looked almost effortless compared to the steel shaft

I will only play tour ad shafts in any hybrid/wood/ driving iron. They make the best graphite shafts for stability and distance and if you don't believe me get fitted. The shaft is the engine of the club, there is no point buying an expensive head with a cheap shaft, if anything do it the other way around. Wisdom imparted, get good guys.
@davidmcdermott3415Ай бұрын
Is the graphite shaft the same length as the steel, or .5 longer?

@@davidtomsett Thanks for that stunning info……🙄

Worth noting that you can’t get this shaft as an upgrade from PXG direct and you’ll have to go to a separate custom fitting venue.
