I'm an automation programmer, (controls engineer or whatever you want to call it). I can't write code to make a game like overwatch, which is way more complicated. I can write code that would detect this. It is truly not that hard. Here Blizzard. While 3 frames, X >170 degrees with hit. Counter = click + hit and start timer. If no click + hit, reset counter. If counter > 5 and 7 second = ban.

@@SocialExperiment232 no expert but i think what the OP’s equation detects its the degree of movement the player makes to make an accurate shot, and has a time window in which it is repeated, that would 100% detect spinbotters and wouldnt be affected by any modifications the cheat creators can make as it is detecting character movement/accuracy that is inhuman in nature

@@boardefraud290 the problem with this is… have you never just had a very accurate play where you just hit 4 headshots in a row? As a diamond widow the opponents I face are extremely varied. Sometimes I get 4 kills cause the team swapped to counter me or they literally just ranked up and still play like plat bots so they stand still and I get a bunch of flick kills… things like this would make it so normal people can get banned just cause they had a lucky streak. Just yesterday I had a Lucio trying to flank me all match and I was already expecting him so I was just flicking back and killing him and he was like “holy poop how are you hitting all headshots?” I wasn’t… I miss shots a lot. But just like any player I have moments where I surprise myself and display non human accuracy. People like Kenzo have gotten banned for “cheating” for this same reason.

@@SocialExperiment232 thats why the degrees of movement are calculated along with the frames taken to make the movement not just the accuracy when you 180 snap multiple times within like 3 frames thats literally inhuman movement (no matter how good you are or how bad your opponents are) and what is being calculated not just hitting multiple headshots but the frequency, the range of movement required to get there and the accuracy are all taken into account if you actually read what the OP's equations says it may need fine tuning of the numbers but the gist of it seems pretty spot on. also kenzo was most likely banned from being mass reported by the plats hes smurfing on not being automatically detected by an anticheat.

The sad thing is Blizzard still won't ban them until whenever the next wave crashes down, meanwhile players who want to climb to higher ranks can't because of this Honestly, I don't play OW anymore because I just lost interest but still love the content but imo its things like this which make me wonder how many people who played ranked no longer bother

And the game you play right now doesn’t have cheaters? Lmao what are you playing? Cookie clicker? All live service games have cheaters and they do not prevent anyone from climbing. All high elo players get to high elo every season because the game knows when you’re skilled and when you’re not.

That's why they are just in bronze and silver. They'll never get very high because dps is really crucial these days due to the passive but if both of your dps die because they have some of the worst positions in the game then your team will be rolled again and again. And since you can tell they rely on the cheats to do everything they will never improve in actual skill. RIP to the golds and plats where these idiots will be stuck

actually just had my first confirmed cheater in ow2 at 259 hours, had a widowmaker walling but no aimbot, i found out because they started tracking and taking potshots at an invisible sombra who just bursted them down, thought "wow i guess they have good headphones" and followed them to their spawn only to stand completely still while invised and get shot immediately by the widow from their spawn, went back and checked the replay and they were 100% walling but had horrible aim and no aimbot, still went like 18-3 because they switched off to bastion after the sombra got them on widow a couple more times

@@KyuuOshiro I never thought he was protecting them, but playing it safe for the submitter. He could also be stopping advertising if the name is such. I do think exposing the cheaters name could help players if they encounter them. I know someone else could have the same name, but the increased awareness could help with the cheater’s team, DRAW. instead of pocketing them thinking someone is just salty. I guess it could have the adverse effect, but ultimately help the honest player make a decision to help. Knowing that you will have to focus on them, or just chalk up staying in spawn and move on.
