You should check the forums, people tilting off the planet about smurfs in quickplay. Its kinda funny actually how tilted one guy gets by imaginary gm players in his quickplay lobby. I told him everything I could to tell him there are no gm's every other game in your qp game. He's co nvinved that blizzard needs to fix it. Untill then he refuses to leave the match and sits in spawn because 'smurf should leave not me'

Just a tip for people who are getting spawncamped by a hog. Wait for a teammate when they also died and walk out of the spawn together. He only has 1 hook. You will do enough damage hopefully together to force him away or use defensive cooldowns.

@TiagoMorbusSa might not be top 500, but people in lower ranks have worse movement. Until they realise they have to strafe more, but then they can't hit a shot. But neither will you because their movement is so random.

That Hog is high Gold, possibly low Plat. No higher than that. He misses way too many shots, and he has the cocky attitude of someone who likes to lord it over the only people he's able to dominate. Essentially, he's from the middle-management ranks of Overwatch.

On Brig I'd say proc inspire from afar using flail, and/or save your shield bash for when you need to react to and reach flankers, it's ok to play more patient as her sometimes.

Probably because he got pissed, because they started to counter him and it worked well enough for him to shut down his spawncamping for a bit. Smurfs have a giant ego. In the end of ow1, I had a second account to play on for when my medication for A.D.D ran out. My concentration without medication is much much worse and would basically unintentionally throw when my medication for A.D.D ran out in the lobbies i would be playing in on my main. I can tell you this, I never dominated on people on that second account. I just turned my brain off and played tank like the gold tank I was supposed to be playing as. With the sole exception, if the enemy had a smurf who started dominating on people and trash talk. I would make it a habit of tbagging him every time knowing full well that if he gets pissed he's going to focus on me. The satisfaction of seeing a smurf trying to dominate you and failing while he is pissed is great. You can tell in their gameplay at that point the frustration when you survive and start to dominate the smurf. Sometimes when they spawncamped people i would kill them and spawncamp the smurf later that game. FYI, I never smurfed to shit on ppl, my brain was off but I would make a effort of shutting down toxic smurfs. I never carried games, nor trash talked, I just played so I wouldn't throw my main accounts teammates ranked games.

I really enjoy these types of videos. As a newer player in silver and gold, they are both entertaining and educational, more so than Jay3 or Flats. Don’t get me wrong, I like those channels too, but I feel like I retain more info from your videos. I just started trying out brig so I’ll try to keep in mind what you said about her in this one.

Emong is very quick with his words, so he does output a lot more info within the same time span as the other two. Flats is more theatrical and does give better "right to the point" advices. Jay3... well, he's more or less of just a chill person and does not really give out great advices (he kinda just does random things and sometimes it's a decent advice)

16:10 that is how I play Lucio basicaly, I can do w/e I want unless Ana / Bap etc are being dove. Then I help them stay alive and kill shit. OFC with Lucio it is easier to come back and peel for Ana. Takes a second or 2.

for mercy: 1. you came out of cover to heal 10hp on someone who was in front of your other support. no need to do that. you put yourself at risk for no reward. just stay where you were and damage boost. when you and your target get pressured, then rotate to safety. 2. you do something i do occasionally - you forget about safety and good positioning the second someone is in danger lol have several safe positions in mind at any time, have a plan for where you can safely go if you need to move to help another teammate for zen: ALWAYS have your orbs active. use healing orb first because you tunnel vision on trying to get kills and let your teammates die. Zen has no damage fall off so there's no reason to be so close to the enemy. you can still be effective at range, and range will keep you safer. for Ana: have a specific purpose for each cooldown use. don't just yeet the nade and hope for the best. if you don't know how to aim it, then don't waste it hoping you'll hit it. save it for uses that you know you're more likely to be effective with. also, play at range. Hog is a really short range hero, but Ana isn't. unless Hog intentionally goes on a ridiculous flank, there's really no reason for you to ever get hooked. don't make yourself an easy target. that's like rule #1 for playing support. dont be an easy kill. and every hero has multiple tools and strategies to prevent themselves from being an easy kill.

See this quite a bit in lower ELO. Two (sometimes more) smurfs queued together and they will just spawn camp. It's almost always a support and a tank or DPS. I personally experienced a Lucio Sambra that made it impossible for about half my team to get out of spawn without escort.

Brig should be proccing inspire when she can. It is not the end all be all tho. Brig is a ranged hero, ironically. Her whipshot is 20 meters and inspire radius is also 20 meters. You can procc I spire by peeling for your ana. If there is no one diving ana then you can look to whipshot aggressively. If there is no backline pressure at all you can look to play with your Frontline but be aware of certain match ups like rein, ram, and queen because they can easily kill you. The best tank you can play into for Frontline pressure is sigma (or a hog)

I had a smurf hog yesterday in open que duod with a mercy essentially doing this. Idk if this a thing where plat/diamond hogs collectively burn out on their dumb hero and decide to hook silvers out of spawn or if it's one unhinged guy that needs a life. I won because he C9d in our spawn. He was doing about 11-12k damage/10 with 34 elims/10, high smurf numbers.

If you ever get spawncamped by a moira or lucio aswell, swap to torb. It takes moira a while to kill the turret, she can't leache hp of it either so she has to use a orb. A orb she then doesn't have. If you then get fade out you can easily kill her. I had a moira spawncamping me on Gibraltar, always dropping down or behind you with a dmg orb. I went torb and obliterated her and went back to the teamfight. Her team lost because she was ass at positioning and healing the correct target lol

I saw someone in chat say that people need to peel for their supports. Dude the support role is really broken, you should not be dying. If people can get to you easy then thats a you problem, your positioning is really bad and/or you dont know how to use your cooldowns correctly. There is only one hero in the entire roster that can get to you super easy without you knowing and thats sombra and if they have a sombra the supports should be keeping each other alive. A sombra shouldnt be in the backline for longer than 1-3 seconds at a time in that case.. she should be translocating out very often. Every other hero you should be positioned in a way they have to use their cooldowns to get to you. Sombra only needs to go invis thats why she can be an issue, however your against ANY other hero they should be using cooldowns so you are then at the advantage against them. You do not NEED protecting. The easiest role I've climbed is support and it was by one tricking Ana took me a few hours to get to masters with no prior Support ranked. Who has 0 mobility and has her sleep and nade to protect her only.

They play mercy mostly it seems, I can tell their sensitivity is pretty high so its probably also hard for them to play ana when they are not used to shooting everyone. They also don't know the arc of the ana nade. You can clearly see they don't have allot of expertise on the hero. I find it admirable they indeed play their worst hero and they are willing to try it. Thaturtle, if you see this, well done and great swaps. Are you the best at zen or ana ? Nope but that's inexperience. Your mercy is waaay better then mine and I am diamond on support. Why is it better? Inexperience, I rarely play the hero.
