However, it seems like they ended up not making nearly as many Tectors once the doctrine changed and they miscalculated with the Star fighter reduction

My guess is either shortly after the bad batch new Stormtrooper armor was dolled out, possibly from some of the funds requisitioned from Hemlock's labs, or it was the first experimental step with new stormtrooper armor to an elite force. If we see any sort of early empire series around this time period again, I suspect the gen 1 TK stormtrooper armor will be replaced with new Stormtrooper armor, or the TK armor replaced with imperial army armor as many of the TKs would no doubt better class in with imperial army rather than stormtroopers.

I was thinking the ISD wasn't animated but rather pulled from Rogue One.

I knew it was coming, but i was a little concerned we get the Vader Star Destroyer Appearance like in Rogue One

Question: In ANH Han says something like ”Not the small (correlian?) ones but the big Imperial Destroyes” - What ship does he mean with the former?

Not sure. I but I like to wager it's supposed to be the Gozanti Class featured prominently in 'SW Rebels'. Which is a reworked freighter.

They really should have introduced the Victory class Star Destroyer in the final seasons of the Clone Wars a Bad Batch as a means of showing the transformation from the Old Republic and the Empire fleet. In the EU, the Victory was designed near the end of Clone Wars, formed the core of the Imperial fleet at the closure of the war and was considered the “ultimate combat ship design” until the introduction of the Imperial-I Class Star Destroyer.

Nah the victory isn't as iconic as the isd though
@Sigma02834 ай бұрын
@@BelugaChonky true, but the Victory was the direct predecessor to both the Imperial-I and Imperial-II Class. It would be reasonable to assume that the Victory class would be the main star destroyer for at least two decades while the Imperial class was being mass produced.
