When you look up acting credits, keep in mind that the 8 episode series that got produced for Amazon Prime was recast, so the voice actors are all different from those in the pilot. Stephanie Beatriz is in the Amazon show - not the pilot.

@@samandmariachannel I think Alastor's supposed to be from New Orleans in the 1920s and 30s. I think he was a radio star (a job he genuinely enjoyed) but was also a serial killer and possible cannibal (sort of a side hobby). He has deer features in his demon form because when he was burying one of his victims early in the morning a hunter mistook him for a deer and shot him.

22:00 when Vaggie is talking about Alastors past my assumption is that most people who die and manifest in hell have an adjustment period. Getting used to the new environment, their no longer human physique, and mysterious magics they now seem to have access too after living on earth where magic doesn't exist. Ive always thought Vaggie means that when Alastor manifested in hell he "hit the ground running" to the surprise of literally everyone, "overnight" being shorthand for "extremely quickly instead of taking the usual weeks or months" for sinners to come to terms with their new reality.

I stumbled across this a few months back and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. The design, the characters, the colours, the humour. You get used to the radio demon’s audio. By the end I found it added to the menace of the character.

Elsie Lovelock(Charlie`s singing voice in the Pilot) is British IRL, which is why Charlie sometimes slips into a British accent, also her father Lucifer is often depicted as an Evil Brit in other media plus she`s a princess and they`re stereotypically British.

Whether or not people would speak to her disrespectfully if her dad was around is up for debate, but even if the demons insult Lucifer they won't pick a fight with him. To clarify, the king of hell in this show is Lucifer, the fallen angel. They're going on what's apparently an older version of demonology where Lucifer and Satan are two seperate figures - Lucifer is the fallen angel and Satan is the embodiment of evil without a plot line. Satan in this show (or rather in it's sister show, Helluva Boss) is the embodiment of the deadly sin of Wrath and so rules over the Wrath ring (hell in this show being divided into seven rings, one for each of the deadly sins and each with the embodiment of that sin ruling over them, Lucifer, Charlie and Lilith are the ONLY ones who outrank them, Hazbin Hotel is specifically set in the Pride Ring because for the crime of falling Lucifer is the embodiment of the Sin of Pride which is apparently the root of all the other deadly sins).

Tom Trench died in the trenches of WWI of sarin gas hence the name and gasmask. Incidentally, Hitler`s temper and raspy, harsh, nasal voice was also a result of sarin gas as well as oratory and gesticulation lessons from Dietrich Eckart.

It's not until you watch the Amazon series that you see all the character set ups. So many people were introduced but not named and most don't even talk. That's why Valentino, who is a man and was only mentioned by his nickname Val, was thought by many fans to be a woman because they didn't realize it was the moth demon texting Angel in the intro. 0:47 On the left we see the silhouettes of Adam and Lute, and on the right we see Lucifer's silhouette. 2:19 This is Travis. He was going to never appear again, but now he's Val's videographer and he makes a cameo appearance in Helluva Boss. 2:43 Sir Pentious and his Egg Boiz were also going to be a goofy one-off villain but turned into a main character in the Amazon series. Same thing for Cherri Bomb, who becomes his love interest too. 5:06 The two little winged goat demons are Razzle and Dazzle, they're Charlie's bodyguards. They were Charlie's stuffed animals when she was little and her dad Lucifer brought them to life to protect her while he's gone. 6:54 We see Vox in the center for a second. 8:16 I believe this imp on the right, next to Charlie, was Blitzø's beta design before Helluva Boss came out. They weren't shown here, but there were also glimpses of Carmilla Carmine, Rosie, Mimzy, Velvette, and Valentino. Cherri was always supposed to be Australian but didn't have her accent until the Amazon series when she changed voice actresses like everyone else.

7:17 Charlie, the royal families (they're lower than the deadly sins though, more like our worlds aristocrats than royalty like Charlie is), and on the other end of the hierarchy are the imps and the hellhounds (they rank as 7th and 8th on the list). Those are the ones I know are hellborn. The rest of the demons are sinners, mortal souls who're sent to hell. And amongst them are the overlords, powerful demons (ones who had also been human) who own the souls of others.

It's not that drinking is a sin, it's that people often lose their inhibitions when overindulging alcohol, thus drinking makes them more likely to sin. That said, it's also a good chance to teach self control and frankly, if things are too boring, its less likely sinners would give it a try.

Welcome to the fan club. You should know that now we're all expecting all 8 episodes of season 1 of Hazbin Hotel (the Amazon Prime series we got as a result of this KZbin Pilot series), and both seasons of Hazbin Hotel's sister series the KZbin series 'Helluva Boss'*. It's set in a different ring of Hell (this Hell's made up of seven rings, one for each of the deadly sins, Hazbin Hotel is set in the Pride Ring with is the chief ring of them all since Pride is supposed to be the route for all the other sins, and each have a demon ruling over each ring as the embodiment of each Sin, Lucifer (Charlie's dad) is the embodiment of Pride so he rules over the Pride Ring but he's also the King of Hell in its entirety so all the other sins answer to him and his family because they outrank the rest of them, Helluva Boss is set in the other rings so we meet other deadly Sins).
