LOVE this room! And I love this channel too (new-ish subscriber here). I do have a question though, why no window treatment? As a guest in a semi-unfamiliar room/house, I'd freak at night with no window dressing. TO ME, these windows are screaming for those automatic window shades! Imagine all those windows with automatic shades rolling down at the same time at the push of a button - they're so cool. But that's just me and my totally amateur opinion, lol. Anyway, thanks for the great video! (I love the longer ones!) Can't wait for next episode!
@BeckiandChris2 жыл бұрын
@@-sil they do have shades! But they are pretty minimal at the top of the window. They are cellular shades that have a small button you can pull down and have them at any height. I chose them so they disappeared into the window and weren’t obvious because I’m not a fan of blinds in a room until I’m sleeping 😂

The room turned out great! You can still add a not-so-deep dresser at tht window by the closet by removing the back legs the dresser's back bottom where you remove the legs can sit on the ledge, I did this for a design project it worked out great for added storage... I kept the legs because if ever they can be reattached...

Congrats on the series! My question is the following. Do you ever fear running out of renovation projects? Assuming that you will not leave Buffalo for a long time, and that the house has a fixed amount of rooms - you mentioned having a cabin project, but that will eventually be done also- I wonder if the ‘optimal’ strategy is to leave a couple of years between projects to make sure you will always have another. Love the series! Congrats again!
