This SIMPLE Crappie Rig Catches HUGE Crappie (CATCH CLEAN COOK)

I used this crappie rig to catch several big crappie! In this video I head out kayak fishing for crappie in South Alabama. The bait I used to catch these crappie was Crappie minnows and they were getting ATE!!! Check out this video to see how to catch crappie and the best rigs for crappie!!

Man I love my fishing! Trolling, slow pitch jigging, fly fishing, you name it. But when it comes to Crappie, I like it old fashioned. Cane pole, bobber and crickets. Most fun you can have with your pants on! Great video as always bud.

In Louisiana we call Crappie Sac-au-lait..The best Bair I used for Crappie was a minnow or a white beetle spin..

Good crappie fishing brother. Look like a good time with your buddy on the water. I really really enjoyed watching you clean the crappie & frying them too. It looked so good man. My older brother is a fish fryer Chef. He just loves to fryer fish all the time. When we have family Gathers the family ask him to fryer the fish for the family & friends. Love minow’s. A gold beetle spin with a green body with black stripes is also one of my favorite ways to catch crappie

Love some crappie fishing. Personally, I like using minnows a lot, or even small shad if i can catch them. I'm usually on the Yadkin River chain. Either Badin, Falls, Tuckertown, or High Rock in NC. The weather is finally starting to cool down, along with the water temp. Last week, the water was around 75. I was hoping to get into some crappie, but didnt have any luck. Got out kinda late. Thanks for taking us along with ya.

Small minnows.I used to use crickets, which in my opinion is the best bait for crappie.l caught a 3 &3 /8 th pounder& a 3&1/8th pounder one day on Lake Conroe years ago on a spinner
