I just started golfing 3 months ago. Played a few Par 3's and stunk it up bigtime with my buddies! Lol Literally just did this drill in my l living room. I have to say its a great method to check your swing and develope muscle memory. Cant wait to try it in the field tomorrow! Just Perfect!

I love the towel drill, Steve. I would suggest using a small towel behind the ball so you don't have to stand on the towel. Also, I soak the towel in water so it sits flatter, and won't blow around in the wind.

I have been helping an 11 year old golfer with your & Mike Aistin tapes. He placed 3rd in a long drive contest last year. 215 yards on a lasered 215 yard hole. Last 30 yards slightly uphill. I would like to have a cell fone tape analyzed by yourself. His name is Rodrigo. His parents are both engineers from South Americs. I played high school and college golf. He is very bright & I think you are the man to take him further.

I think, the low point is not a point but an area on the target line as you can see in the sand and on a divot indicator mat. And this area is only a little lower than it was at impact and it should be exactly on the middle of the target line and as wide as the clubhead and as long as possible. If this is the case - where else but straight should the ball go?

Yes the divot is an area but the low point occurs somewhere on a line near the middle of it. When you first enter the divot the club is still traveling downward.

@@Inmotion70 imagine the "divot" of the shot of an icehockey-player. The low point is exactly on the ice and very long and straight.
