In 2006 I entered the hospital after an accident with my bike and hit my head on the road. So they did an X-ray. Then I had to wait a while. A female doctor came in and said it looked good. Most of the time it’s not that the third eye opened. It’s Qi deviation that comes from incorrect practice, or forcing certain breathing techniques or doing them wrong. The third eye will not open on accident not before it is ready to open after many years, or decades of spiritual practice. I am not questioning something negative took place but stating it probably was not your third eye opening. You are correct though that it is a process and you cannot skip steps.
