I will take time to make my own artwork and add it to my articles and essays. I think it ensures that that the content feels authentic by inserting my own commentaries into simple reporting that any AI can spit out. Plus, you don't have to pay a fee for an image you made yourself. I just doodle a little stick figure in Paint - it doesn't have to be fancy, just clever and/or relevant.
