I wonder if this slide will finally let me properly play the first two notes of Michael Arnopol's fantastic double bass line on Patricia Barber's "Too Rich For My Blood" on a fretted bass. The first note is 50 cents sharp. The second note is 25 cents sharp and the entire remainder of the bass line is in F major. If so, you've just helped my spend more of my money. Thanks a lot!😉

Is it possible to also create more than single slide notes ? Like doublestops ( or in case u like to use kinda open tunings)? Or is the ring too narrow ?

It sounds like it might be too light for my taste. As convenient as this is, I find "as heavy as possible" for a slide sounds best on bass. Though, looking at the website, it looks like the current model is tungsten and not steel.

there's not much out there in the world for slide bass guitar, but the fact that the width of this lets us only play one note at a time definitely makes this the de facto slide for bass guitar. I am having trouble getting clarity out of my low E string, any pointers?
