I really wouldn't consider this a mistake. You guys yielded a lot of fruit so this actually served the purpose that you two projected. I sent all 3 of your videos on the cattle panel greenhouse to a friend of mine that is a new owner of 26 acres in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Great work guys

Oh wow! Thank you! It did give us fruit and I really enjoyed watering the plants and watching them grow. Just a painful ending I guess

So devastating. I don’t know how pioneers did it? Homesteading requires so much resilience and I’m glad you capture the highs and lows. Congrats on the wood stove. You’ll love it. And enjoy the lamp chops this winter, too!

I totally agree! I we certainly will lol they had a fun day at least

Ah the frustration of a small lapse wrecking your hard work. And ya salvaged it! The lettuce and spinach will be grand! Everything looks great. Especially excited about your wood stove! Please give us a look at it soon! Congratulations on a great summer season and to what will be a fine Fall.

Ah man.....I can't imagine your pain, when you realized the sheep got into your greenhouse. They're lucky you're still feeding them lol. Enjoy your long weekend & have a great week!

They are definitely lucky! It was very disappointing

Black bear got into our garden. They like squash and 🌻 sunflowers. It will add flavor to you sheep meat. Look positive it's easier. Good luck on the fall crop. I have spinach and radishes growing now. Cooling down fast in Alberta

I’m so sorry Jenny. I’ve had deer eat all my tomatoes this year, didn’t get a single harvest from my tomatoes plant’s this year besides a handful of cherry tomatoes 😢. Way to be positive and carry on. 💩happens and all we can do is make the best of it.

When do the sheep go to the gallows? I had a huge garden a few years ago. Took a few days off and on the third day went to go to work in the beautiful garden. The horn worms had eaten most of it. I just sat down and cried. So much work goes into it, hours and hours with lots of anticipation for the rewards. Makes kickin some sheep assets seem logical to me. Toasty wood stove will be a godsend with the prices these days.

Oh I would cry as well! It is a sad thing. It takes so much time. The woodstove will be a nice addition this winter

Yes to the Woodstove 👍👍 Fantastic news! I’m surprised the sheep didn’t eat more! We’re considering taking our polytunnel plastic off ahead of the storm 😫 The growing season is ending too soon!!! Stay safe! Kristen x

Oh that's too bad! I'm so sorry that happened. I wish we could give you tomatoes as we harvested all of five hundred pounds of tomatoes this year. The lamb will be especially tasty this winter. There is nothing like a wood fire to improve your mood. Thanks for the update. You worked pretty hard doing all the chores and making the video! Take care guys!
@ODriscolls2 жыл бұрын
That is a lot of tomatoes! Thanks Kevin! It definitely adds a bit of an extra chore on top of chores to film it haha

Documenting chores is drudgery for sure! We've so far canned tomato paste, tomato sauce, tomato juice, crushed tomatoes, green tomato mincemeat and salsa verde! You wouldn't know it Haha!
