You are amazing!!! Your videos are easy to follow, teach techniques that produce beautiful paintings that are distinctive and full of depth and color I’ve not seen not anywhere else. Your enthusiasm and confidence inspire. Your encouragement to try new things and not give up if things aren’t exactly as you’d wanted help keep me going. Thank you for sharing your talent and thanks to you, I’ve put my old palates and brushes back to work after 20 years resting in their plastic storage bins. ❤

Watching you add layer upon layer is so helpful, and the tip about the white gouache is intriguing. I love your tree paintings. Glad I signed up for the workshop.

Thank you Paula 🙂 The workshop teaches the basics and yet, it's what I still use in all paintings to get the look, just more time, attention and detail is added.

Do you recommend Canson XL Aquarelle for Watercolor or Watercolor Pencils?? I just went to the ArtBar yesterday to look for papers and Arches is too expensive for me, only elite artists can buy those papers easily and where am I supposed to get 2,400 Philippine peso for a small cut of sheets of paper??
@paintingandchocolate10 ай бұрын
For watercolor pencils it will be fine.

i personally prefer strathmore over canson for watercolor, it’s still not gonna break the bank like cotton paper will but it works better in my experience

Very nice! The only thing I would say is that as an artist you don’t have to paint exactly what you see, you’re the one in control. I like your finished painting, but personally I would have changed the holes in the main tree a bit because they look like a face.

I know what you mean, I do like to render what i see most times and yes, sometimes I'd lile to alter photos so I'll use two or three of them since I enjoy a reference. It doesnt happen so often though 🙂
