That’s the first time I have seen Matt unhook a trailer as his early videos had people getting worse off after unhooking their trailers. Of course his plan worked out pretty darn good. UT looks beautiful as always, have a great day everyone.

@randomdude72009 ай бұрын
last week I asked why they don't do that and they replied "Never, never never unhook"! lol
@ottokiehl54139 ай бұрын
This wasn't the typical scenario that Matt previously talking about. He was talking about a "stuck" situation, typically in mud. This one was where there wasn't enough room to do a conventional turnaround with a trailer. The logical solution is to turn the tow-vehicle after it is disengaged from the trailer, pivot the trailer and hook back up. Where I lived until about 6 months ago, that was the ONLY way to turn around, due to a very steep driveway that was barely more than one lane wide.
@vg34309 ай бұрын
A trailer you can maneuver by hand (mostly) is a totally different scenario.
@DB-yj3qc9 ай бұрын
Unhooking your trailer vs. unhooking customer trailer damage to your stuff isn't the insurance problem. Especially a working (steel) trailer vs. T.T. or enclosed trailer. If I have to, I would disconnect my heavy-duty utility trailer and drag it out or around but not my T.T. it would not hold up the work trailer is kind of made for that.

In other words, Just Another Tuesday in my farmyard. Nah. To be honest, this corner of Montana had some magic shield this winter. Double-bladed road graders bogging down in compound last year. Got slapped last night but only an inch of 3 forecast. 17 yesterday, 50 today then glorious 63 tomorrow. But every snow video here gives me mild trauma flashbacks and regret I didn't know about Matt's Recovery when I needed them. Who knows? A good break is statistically due at some time, right? But now careful with my celebrations in front of the real farmers and the cattle ranch neighbor. VERY savvy guy right out of Yellowstone. Greenhorn asks him in a shaking panic WTF? (last year), is this NORMAL? Just spits chew, pauses, looks around and asks me what normal was. And that it can vary greatly; he's not that obscure. One Broadus lady stated some farmers were getting worried a month ago. The rancher last week reported no worry yet. Which makes me hope this El Nino holds!
