Just like taking a manual car out of gear when it's not running, pressing the clutch is not needed, (there's no big mismatch between the rpms of the engine and the wheels ;-) ) But do we know how familiar the youung lady is with motorcycles and their gearboxes? I don't. So in case of doubt, i would think she is unfamiliar with it and thus not to take her comment too serious.

That’s the first time I have seen Matt unhook a trailer as his early videos had people getting worse off after unhooking their trailers. Of course his plan worked out pretty darn good. UT looks beautiful as always, have a great day everyone.

This wasn't the typical scenario that Matt previously talking about. He was talking about a "stuck" situation, typically in mud. This one was where there wasn't enough room to do a conventional turnaround with a trailer. The logical solution is to turn the tow-vehicle after it is disengaged from the trailer, pivot the trailer and hook back up. Where I lived until about 6 months ago, that was the ONLY way to turn around, due to a very steep driveway that was barely more than one lane wide.

A trailer you can maneuver by hand (mostly) is a totally different scenario.

Unhooking your trailer vs. unhooking customer trailer damage to your stuff isn't the insurance problem. Especially a working (steel) trailer vs. T.T. or enclosed trailer. If I have to, I would disconnect my heavy-duty utility trailer and drag it out or around but not my T.T. it would not hold up the work trailer is kind of made for that.

I grew up on a ranch around trucks and trailers and combines and swathers and all kinds of implements and tractors galore, four wheelers and horses and cattle and I always had a job…and now looking back as an adult since I no longer do any of that is amazing to think of the values, instilled upon me from my dad. It reminds me of this channel and how Matt is showing all of his family how to do things The right way, sometimes the right way takes many attempts, but he is still showing them the right way. In other words, Just Another Tuesday in my farmyard. Nah. To be honest, this corner of Montana had some magic shield this winter. Double-bladed road graders bogging down in compound last year. Got slapped last night but only an inch of 3 forecast. 17 yesterday, 50 today then glorious 63 tomorrow. But every snow video here gives me mild trauma flashbacks and regret I didn't know about Matt's Recovery when I needed them. Who knows? Maybe the 2,000-mile service call would rate a good road trip video?

@@farming4g Yeah, I ended up on a farm and work the tone if the context is worth it but am new here in Powder River County on a farm I did not expect. Creek bottomland so any idiot (I proved) can grow more crops in large gardens w/o any equipment. Like 4 pound squash (wish I liked squash). Ramble effect; POINT is: FINE WITH ME. A good break is statistically due at some time, right? But now careful with my celebrations in front of the real farmers and the cattle ranch neighbor. VERY savvy guy right out of Yellowstone. Greenhorn asks him in a shaking panic WTF? (last year), is this NORMAL? Just spits chew, pauses, looks around and asks me what normal was. And that it can vary greatly; he's not that obscure. One Broadus lady stated some farmers were getting worried a month ago. The rancher last week reported no worry yet. Which makes me hope this El Nino holds!

@@jeramiahrueb6300 Ok, right on. I was in the Helena area before so "Yo, neighbor." Or when I DID! Townsend is great. Friends would just drive me around when I moved here way back in the 80s on back roads, etc. Recall that ?Nat Guard? test firing range or something. And spacing the name but the canyon/highway straight north that I used MANY times as a back door to Billings instead of the interstate. I had a great boss who had a wallpaper biz and lived in Townsend; sadly gone now. Only called him Z and would have to look up his name. Good guy. Love the big old houses ?downtown; near courthouse, anyway. Lessee... oh yeah. Campground host at Canyon Ferry, Hell's Canyon (that the name? Hell something. I'm losing it! So better stop yammering. One of my most epic recalls of a LOT is coming back a couple years ago from Clyde Park. October but the big storm front was warm so was the biggest, most stunning black World Is Ending, lightning-spitting storm sitting right over Townsend as I came out of that canyon. Cold Creek? Dammit! What, look it up? Bah! har! Helena was always too much for me. If I didn't get into Marysville I was looking at Townsend. I know every town has humans like the rest but perfect size to me. ... until this place and now love the isolation. Cheers, Broadwater County brother!

Matt you definitely need to change the drive system to a full hydro, with 2 final drive motors just link the new compact Track loaders, I built case skid loaders in Wichita,Ks for 21 yrs and track loaders for the last 7 of them, I now own a small excavation business and purchased a Kubota SVL97-2 to add to our fleet, .......... you should also use the pilot one-hand operation for drive and steer, it will make the Bombi a pure joy to Drive !!!!!!!!

Mile marker 200 on the i15. I just saw Blue Steel , the morvair, the banana, and you guys cruising northbound. Right on, guys. Have you guys ever thought about reaching out to your Walmart marketing manager of your area? Could be some great opportunities for merchandise product flow.😊keep being awesome guys.
