This is a short little thing that took me way longer to make than it should’ve. I think i made this based on the feeling when you have a memory but you can’t remember if it was real, or a dream. Also, the name is because I genuinely felt like i was remaking/copying something when I made this, but I can’t tell what. It just kinda felt unoriginal for some reason. Also Happy Mother’s Day!

Moments like that are weird, It's like "hmm wait, that sounds familiar." I just a few hours ago learned I probably copied some melody from Inscryptions soundtrack as well by accident lol that funny and kind of scary thing is that you don't realize it when you are making the melody, it's just subconciously happening it's weird. as someone who also composes music this is just. incredibly common, intentionally or not, and even if it is similar to another song, you're still getting better as a composer throughout it all because, especially in this case where you don't know the original thing, you're still getting at least something out and learning from it. like, you can't learn to make good piano music if you don't make a few pieces directly based on other piano pieces, as long as no one is getting hurt and proper credit is given when needed, you're still learning how to make better music and that's really all that matters! it stinks to make a piece you're proud of yet still modest about (i believe modesty is very important in any art form) but then people downplay it because it's just similar to another piece, just have fun with music!
