My Mother as well as myself have made this plautz for years, except we make it with an non yeasted crust. We make it with all different kinds of fruit but never put the sour cream on top. Looks delicious though. 😊

That sounds wonderful! 🍑🍒 A non-yeasted crust must make it nice and quick to prepare, and I love the idea of trying different fruits. Pflaumenkuchen mit Streusel, this is my favourite cake. I just made some with our heritage plums. Without the creme fraiche… In Metchosin, on Vancouver Island, in Canada. ❤️🇨🇦
