It's 52, not 50. I've a TT bike with 50/10, and never run of gear even on descend. Did struggle with 50/33 on steep climbs though.

@@jackiewong0806 I never run out of gears on the high end of the gear ratios since I'm always coasting on downhills. My "biggest" gear ratio is only a 34/12 on my gravel bike. I'm better off recovering, conserving energy, and trying to stay alive when descending. I can see how things might be different on a TT bike.

I guess a lot of riders would prefer 48, 46 or 44 chainring. 44/10 is plenty of downhillspeed for me and also alllows climbing with a larger cog rear than in the front.

@@erlendsteren9466 If you live in the mountains you'll go for the 40 chainring and a 10-51 cassette. Totally different use case. This bike is basically for flat roads, there can't be any hill around.

The Cruxes all use the same frame. The differences are paint jobs and different external parts like wheels and groupsets. You can easily buy a cheap tier with Apex AXS and swap it with any SRAM transmission derailleur + cassette, then pair it.

I have it's sister bike, the Diverge. I HIGHLY recommend the FutureShock of you are subject to any sort of neuropathy in your arms/hands. And, yes, it is a go anywhere bike if you fit the right tires. It presently has 28 mm Turbos, which are the older and little sister to the Mondos.

This is NOT external routing, this is regular internal routing. Just because you can still see brake lines, does NOT mean it's external routing. If they enter the frameset at any point, it is NOT external routing. Regular internal routing is better for gravel bikes. They get dirty fast and have shorter headset service intervals than road bikes.

Here in Europe 90% of top 10 finishers are on average bikes/components like gx, xt, ultegra, 105, same with frames. It is probably quite opposite in US, there consumerism is a religion that is reflected in this channel, which is not about love for cycling and sport, but love for empty consumerism and bling.
