@@jackiewong0806 I never run out of gears on the high end of the gear ratios since I'm always coasting on downhills. My "biggest" gear ratio is only a 34/12 on my gravel bike. I'm better off recovering, conserving energy, and trying to stay alive when descending. I can see how things might be different on a TT bike.

I guess a lot of riders would prefer 48, 46 or 44 chainring. 44/10 is plenty of downhillspeed for me and also alllows climbing with a larger cog rear than in the front.
@Amerigo73
@Amerigo73 8 күн бұрын
@@erlendsteren9466 If you live in the mountains you'll go for the 40 chainring and a 10-51 cassette. Totally different use case. This bike is basically for flat roads, there can't be any hill around.

@yonglingng5640

This is NOT external routing, this is regular internal routing. Just because you can still see brake lines, does NOT mean it's external routing. If they enter the frameset at any point, it is NOT external routing. Regular internal routing is better for gravel bikes. They get dirty fast and have shorter headset service intervals than road bikes.

Here in Europe 90% of top 10 finishers are on average bikes/components like gx, xt, ultegra, 105, same with frames.
