He phrased it something like "It's a regular Ironman, but first I kill sandcrabs for two hours" or something to that effect. I don't think it's pointless, just a bit sloppy. As long as he isn't using that movement to accomplish things he wouldn't have been able to do otherwise or would've taken significantly longer without it, it's completely fine in my eyes. In reality, the only thing it would've changed about this series if he was more conscious of it would be he would've spent more runes luring things if they moved instantly on spawn and it would've been a huge headache for him, making him enjoy the series less and probably that would translate over to the video being worse or him quitting.

@@Sami8s well one major difference to your example is that hardcore is an officially supported gamemode, whereas things like tileman and area restricted accounts are not. Because of this, there are some very awkward interactions and it's somewhat of a "wild west" in terms of exact rules and such. He is making up his own rules, so he can play it how he wants to. If you want to play with slightly different rules (like the "if you move off your tiles you have to unlock that tile even if it was a misclick" rule that a few people use) feel free to. Some people make similar arguments like "in an area restricted account you shouldn't be able to lure things outside of your area", but no one has suggested that for a tileman - it is just accepted that you can range and telegrab whatever. My point is that the rules for these kinds of accounts are entirely arbitrary, so much so that what bothers you may not bother someone else and there are probably a ton of things you would never even think of which bother other people. So just because what he does rubs you the wrong way doesn't make it any more "pointless" then if you were to make an account and follow your set of arbitrary rules.

I died a bit inside when you got banned. It happened to my GIM and caused me to lose hours of progress and made my friends give up on it too. Which is sad because we were going to go do raids.
