@@solblackguynot really, he uses technology for magic so there are tons of heros that can easily defeat him. He had to use Tony’s weapons to become Mysterio in live action also. He isn’t no where near avengers level threat, and technically if he is then all of Spider-Man villains are avenger level threat. Sandman, Both Goblins, Venom, Electro are all way more powerful and are global villains. Mysterio isn’t messing with any of them unless he has actual powers like his other universe copy does!!

@@zzirfamo24 he can generate convincing illusions, video edits, can hack surveillance and is surprisingly as skilled infiltration as someone like The Chameleon. That's pretty dangerous for a supervillain.

@@solblackguy well yea that’s dangerous but a basic EMP could take out most of his tech, im not saying he isn’t dangerous I know he is. But saying he is avengers level threat isn’t really saying anything when a lot more of spidey’s viilians are more powerful and dangerous. I like mysterio tho I just wish they would give him actual magic powers instead of the tech, cuz then he would probably be one of the most dangerous villains

@@zzirfamo24 you're overlooking so something important: Would they use an EMP to defeat Mysterio if they didn't know it was him pulling the strings? Beck could run an ad campaign to make the Avengers look bad after botching an operation similar to Sokovia and play the team against themselves too

My favorite part of SM2 was when the crooks would try to get away, via helicopter. Would quickly catch up and secure a webline to it, letting it drag me along. When it would get ready to land, I’d waiting be on the high rise landing pad. Would quickly KO all but the last goon. Him I would suplex from the roof, just to see how many turns I could get before he smashed headfirst into the street. To my knowledge, don’t think you can do that in the 2018 game.

Also @op do this with Spiderman 3 for 360 and learn all the tricks (which increase momentum) including the pole/fence stuff, his traversal in that game is way better than people tend to talk about.

Mysterio is definitely one of Spidermans most irredeemable villains. Up there with Cletus Kassidy and Green Goblin. He tried to trick Daredevil into butchering a newborn baby so because he got bored of fighting Ben Reilly and wanted to "win for once". He was supposed to be a joke villain, but he's been written more as an unhinged sociopath that tortures heroes mentally for fun. Its why I think he's more dangerous than Scarecrow from Batman. Scarecrow at least has a clear reason due to being a doctor and wanting learn more of fear. Mysterio has no reason. He just does it cause he gets off on it. One minute he'll make you trip over your own shoelace, then another he'll trick you into running over a bunch of kids in a playground cause he's bored
