really like seeing Pia being utilized, been trying to optimize a jeskai build with Pia/Eruth that consistently gets the mechtitan from kamigawa in play. it's not the most competitive but its fun to swing with 10/10's most people don't see coming

Oh this deck is AGGRESSIVE aggressive lmao! I genuinely love aggro strategies because theres actually a lot of play to the deck. Tons of small decisions on when to play spells and combat tricks, when to attack and how to block. The very basic mechanics od the game become so much more impactful in strategies like these. So much fun ans so much value! I expect nothing less from Luca! You're the best man!!!

Heartflame Duelist has a very interesting effect, giving sorceries and instants Lifelink. Reminds me of the silver border paper card "Super-Duper Death Ray," which was an Instant with Trample. Didn't expect them to pull something similar over to black-border Magic.

Match 2 you could've used torch on squee instead of heartflame slash and exiled it, saving a lot of headache later Great stuff as usual! This is the only place I watch standard but you've always got great deck ideas
@LegenVD Жыл бұрын
That was definitely an option, although mana efficiency is also important when playing this deck. Saving the cheap burn spells to play after Duelist has a lot of upside.
@redpandaplush5980 Жыл бұрын
@@LegenVDmakes sense! Still won so who am I to judge lol

It takes longer to get duelist down without losing a removal spell if you do that, which is a pretty big deal against mono-red where duelist is a massive swing.

I understand that in this way the title is more catchy but i missed the standardised titles in which i already knew what i was looking at only from the title
