@@RoboticsBay Dark has a strong personality. He knows he's better than most people. (single digit number of players that can even contest that Dark isn't just objectively better than them). And more so that any other player he plays like he knows he's better than people. He takes short cuts because he knows that you'd have to be as good as him to actually punish those shortcuts. Dark's aura exudes confidence and a belief that he can beat anyone.

I think we should have a caster card for Winter. Name: President of Starcraft. Abilities -Clairvoyance: knowns none of us are playing SC and calls us out for it. -Hypnotize: Whilst talking makes SC2 games 400% more interesting. -Necromacy: Somehow keeps SC2 alive even though it should have died a while ago. -Random Mutation: Sometimes becomes part of swarm hive and can read the mind of Queens. -Multipotentialy: Can make rap songs about Protoss build order.

DRG is actually aggressive in ZvP. He's the type of player who likes to swarm and trade inefficiently until his opponent runs out of bases to mine. Also Drg is the pioneer of some of the defense builds like the adept glaive defense.

Protoss is so weak to Z. Play hard just to get to late game, end up with the weakest army that loses to cheap units everytime. Has to run away from taking straight engagements with a 'deathball' because it will lose, then it loses.

Dark is an amazing player and in game 1 beautifully exemplifies my issues when playing PvZ as a protoss. He starts making units at 5:54 (3:51 in the video) and takes a 46 supply lead by 7:16 (5:14) after expanding to 5 bases and doesn't even need to sacrifice upgrades. By the time he arrives at NightMare's base, he has 42 more army supply, allowing him to a-move 3 bases at once while remaking 40 supply worth of units, so he destroys the 4th and doesn't even drop in supply. Once that happens protoss is left to constantly try to rebuild his expansions while Dark faces no danger to his economy. As a much inferior player to NightMare, this is where my macro game would end and I find it incredible he could come back from that. This is why protoss has to so often resort to tricks, yet many of those tricks got patched in the past updates.

yeah queens are just so insanely strong in brood war zerg often has to sacrifice their early game eco to deflect harass with zerglings, mutas, or sunkens, but in sc2 zerg can build basically nothing but drones and queens can deflect any harass with no larva or gas cost, on top of actually improving larva production
