so glad others saw this too. I was slapping my forehead so hard and yelling at the screen, "its right there" lol. But i also know how easy it is to miss something this simple, even in real escape rooms.

For some reason, I thought that the point of this challenge was to restore the power. Consider this: You, as ship's mechanic, are waking up to a power outage. You quickly enter the maintenance corridors (albeit crammed, still human-sized) to get to the storage facility, then scramble for fuel and start an emergency generator to run the doors and critical systems. Then you power up the ship's main reactors by loading it with preheated fuel packs (challenge mode balls). Once that is done, you're rotating the photovoltaic panels (that part at the end) in order to get the maximum solar energy, making your ship self-sufficient. How does that sound?

the balls could be some kind of matter for the engines....think about itl..you brought the gen online...to get the main drives fueled up..then rotated the solar cells

@@spykillergames8402 you would usually retract solar cells when getting ready for interstellar movement. I believe Capt has it on point, your just an onboard mechanic that I assume was awaken from cryo sleep as a safety protocall when the ship has a fault. Ur job was to pretty much restore power and configure the photovoltaic panels to make the ship self-sufficient

I played the challenge yesterday, the door of the ball cage has an open and close switch on each side, but the order for using it that way had to be specific. you left the switch on at the second panel so it bugged for you

If you take your time from when the challenge breaks to when you come back to the same spot, your total time is now 85:20:450 Good job.

The ball cage could be better designed, something like if you rotate it or move it then the door closes But overall nice challenge

the worst part about these for me is the fact that now that I've seen the puzzle done, I'll never be able to do the challenge with fresh eyes, to experience the rush of endorphins as I complete the puzzle on my own. But great work on the creator's part! The map is incredible!
