It really is. It seems to be very Americanised now, especially this series - the oversaturated look (regardless of the colourful attire the couple wore), the clearly phoned in "lets go to the wall and discuss letting go of ONE SINGLE POUND each" - this new look and feel for the show is going to ruin it
@wardosravin9 ай бұрын
You can see the demise of UK society through the evolution of Dragons Den. Debra is so old now she has long lost her snap. Peter has probably had to adjust as his children became older and started bringing home their new opinions. Stephen is a giddy social media mogul and thus epitomises the modern day entrepeneurs. All in all a shit-show, just like the show.

I’ve been binging this show for the past fews days and I’ve got to say the newest episodes aren’t that great. Everything looks too happy and bright, I feel like not being able to see the elevator and the dullness of colour in previous seasons gave it a more tense and serious atmosphere which I personally prefer and found more engaging. Also it’s hard to explain but everything now feels so rushed as if they made more cuts and edits than they ever have done which takes away from the suspense. I hope they go back to what the show was like only a few years ago.
@nathanmorrison18308 ай бұрын
It used to be called “Dragons Den” for a reason. The den was an intimating environment where entrepreneurs entered the den within a tense atmosphere to secure a deal. The dragons were serious and down to business like (there was the occasional sense of humour) but it was very serious and they would criticise you for the slightest mistake. Nowadays, it’s far too happy and far less intimidating, dragons like Sara and Steven make the show seem to happy and innocent and the dragons don’t even feel intimidating anymore, look at Deborah and Peter now to what they were 15 years ago, there’s a big difference. For me, the older episodes are better as you can take them seriously.

they dont want to be close as possible to royal its just rare to be invested in by royalty so they were surprised lol (it also highlights that its a charitable cause) most people in the uk are heavily critical of the royal family and being close to them benefits them in no way. if they wanted to hang around royalty they could definitely do it but no one really cares
