After almost 4 years of running your kit flawlessly on my 6040, I could not imagine going back to hoping my programs would make it 15 minutes without losing steps! Once I went edealers I never looked back. 5 hour run 100ipm in t6 6040 aluminum ? No problem! I don't even think twice about it. 12 hour day plowing acrylic, bring it! I do it on a weekly basis. I used a simple B.O.B. that Vince supplies to run 6 axes,with 8 motors. I simply spilt the step/direction signal on Z , Y axes (you can't split the power for motors)( still not best practice) I if you use soft limits, you still have many I/O connections for ... rellays , lazier pointers, touch probes ect. You can even conect a light curtain that can act as an E- stop for safety purposes (MUCH READING REQUIRED) . Just call Vince , it's worth the 25 cents, You'll be glad you did!

Thanks for the video, not really interested in content creator's video after seeing that nightmare enclosure, because of lack airflow, space and mostly on that tiny space the iem has to be high. I probably am wrong, and is not a problem. Guess what, I'm in the right place to learn something. Thanks Vince.

Hi Vince. I watch your videos religiously. I am counting on a Fluidnc controller (6 pak v1.2) It offers three user interfaces , USB, WIFI, and bluetooth. USB is not stable per se. What about WIFI and Bluetooth interface. Can you please comment? Also for Fluidnc boards there are serial adapter addon products that allow for control through a serial port.

Hey Bradley, thank you for your support. WIFI isn't best for CNC as any router hiccup in the signal will lead to problems. Nothing beats a hardwired ethernet connection as the safest way to transfer your control signals. Leave USB, and WIFI to 3D printers. Thank you, Vince

Why are you confusing robots with cnc machines... a cnc machine has never been classed as a robot. You seem to refer to this like your some robot expert. This video just screams jealousy.... so what if hes ran into issues, as he overcomes the issues, he learns and so dos his viewers... if someone is stupid enough to follow a design thats known to have issues thats on them...

Hey Adam Bundy, Its apparent you need to review this website to educate yourself waykenrm.com/blogs/cnc-robotics-and-automation/ I refer to CNC routers, mills, lathe's, laser cutters, and plasma cutters as production robots as that's exactly what they are. You seem to be upset for some odd reason by my video. If any content creator spreads misinformation then it should be corrected no matter how much it hurts your feelings as this genre of technology is complex. If they describe/show building a CNC controller incorrectly, and it utilizing methods, and components that could build in instability to the system that their audience might practice themselves then his video could cost people an immeasurable amount of time, and money depending on the content creator's audience size. You typed if "if someone is stupid enough to follow a design that's known to have issues that's on them" That's interesting its just like someone stupid enough to have trouble understanding the premise of my video.
