Ed, this was very, very helpful. My channel is too small to work with you at this point but I'm taking notes and applying as much as I can of what you are sharing in this video and others. I want you to know that in this format, where you are the most real and the most you (without 'performing' like you did so much of on Film Booth) made my trust in you go through the roof. In the education niche, as consumers we care less about polish and we care more about people being of service. Thanks for being you. You is all we need.

Bro, I think you're doing great work here on KZbin and mostly providing great advice . I greatly appreciate your point of view..I would like to be a little critical here (which I believe you will view positively) In regards to sales, your advice I find leans heavily on attracting a specific personality type, which will work great for that personality type.. However, people think differently, and "some" of the (most was spot on) suggestions you made here on people's channel could actually negatively affect them and possibly cause a disconnect with their audience.. My suggestion would be that they take your advice and beta test the results..

Hey Ed. 1- I listened while dealing with unpacking and organizing my new place. Learned a bit from ya. 2- do you have experience or advice for music specific channels? I'm curious if you have experience coaching and growing music channels and what your take is on the differences.
@creator-booth7 ай бұрын
Ive worked with loads of people who teach people how to make music play guitar etc, but not people trying to get their own music heard so it depends on what you mean
@katiukulele7 ай бұрын
@@creator-booth I'm meaning the latter. Getting one's own music heard. I'm going to be doing some research on cover songs and parodies how they move and get promoted to build an audience and then start releasing my own. I've come to realize the rules are very different. As much as I've done tutorials, I'm kinda... not wanting to keep doing them. I mean I probably will for a bit, but not as my main focus... I was curious if you've helped or had advice to build a music channel that's not tutorial based.

When using a question to hook the viewer should I focus more on a present pain (e.g a problem they're facing now) or a future pain (eg if this problem persists this big problem/pain will happen) or do you think both make for a good hook? I like your videos and just subscribed. I checked out your program, I was contemplating to join but I wanted to see the price. Unfortunately I can’t find the price, just an application form for a call. I would like to suggest to offer this without a call too and be clear about the price. For two resons: English is my second language and I still feel emarrassed to talk to anyone. Secondly I don’t like pushy sales persons calling me and seeing that someone would call me to “discuss” put the negative image in my head instantly. So, I didn’t apply. You need to think about people too whos English is not their mother language. 😊

Do you have any similar tips for entertainment channels that want to link to a business? I'm starting an art channel to grow an audience to sell art prints and originals to oneday. I'm a beginner artist sharing my journey from the start, so I don't have credibility, and my audience won't have pain points, so I can't really create educational content. It'll be more art supply hauls and process videos. Sorry if you've made a video on this already, I searched entertainment on your channel, and this was all that came up, no worries if it's not an area you're in to :)
@creator-booth7 ай бұрын
You're not an entertainment channel from the sounds of it, you're a business/educator so all of this applies to you. They have pain points for sure, anyone who teaches anything solves a problem, so this is the content you need, in fact this entire channel is the perfect fit, ive worked with a lot of art channels
