The French tech tree in War Thunder has a lot of vehicles based on the AMX-13, with one of the most potent being the premium AMX-13-M24 light tank. It doesn't look very nice, but it definitely gets the job done.

Fun fact, if you look into the x-ray of this tank you’ll see that the turret ring is still on the amx hull, meaning that either gaijin messed stuff up or the armored box neck is just protected a elongated m24 turret.

Apparently it had a very long service career. After satisfactory use in Algeria, they were brought back to France where they became driver training vehicles by replacing the gun and gun mantlet with a Plexiglas window. They were used into the 80’s like that, when they were phased out and either scrapped or shot to pieces as range targets.

Heya spook! I think an interesting video would be on the TKX(p), the reason I say this, is because the TKX(p) is effectively the same as the TKX, but without some of the additional rolled armor (and just Dm33). What I enjoy to do in the TKX(p) is considering it has pneumatic suspension, with your dozer you can make some pretty fun hull down positions.

My son used this to shortcut the French tree. We were able to research the entire French tier-1 in 1.5 to 2 hours and avoided much suffering. Well worth the $12 in Golden Eagles. Although now he has used the AMX-M4 much more than the AMX-13-M24.

My first french premium and one that sits comfortably in my 5.7 line up This things amazing, the chaffee gun is literally the exact same as the amx 13s in regards to pen, its a little lower velocity, and little slower fom th extra wight, but it gets a 50 cal and better armour around the turret, so all things considered its a good upgrade over thr standard low br amx 13

Hey spooks! I think you should play the Turan III, its my favorite tank and in my opinion the best tank in the italian tech tree. Great gun, ferocius speed (both fowards and in reverse), has extra armor against HEAT and HE shells and the cupula is as far as i know immune to everything.
