I found myself gossiping at work about another employee that, is actually awesome. Really just judging the way he shows up in the world and that was so wrong of me. I think it was projection because I’m struggling with judging myself. Rant#1 People who criticize a reader's style is either triggered by that reader so has to complain/cry "fake" OR doesnt understand they can just click off/delete etc if that style doesnt resonnate. If I dont "get" a readers style I just dont watch. Hence I follow a small few, and yes I have stopped following some, only bc their messages are no longer for me to hear. Rant #2 Ive stopped trying to be someone Im not to please others...but it has created a very lonely life for me. I struggle to understand "why" if I have pure intentions and a big ❤, why am I alone? Rant all you want my friend !!! Let it out ! I connect a lot with what you said. In the past year, I've radically stopped compromising my happiness and mental health for others to feel comfortable. It shined a very clear light on the relationships that were unhealthy , and also on my OWN behaviors. Some days I have waves of rage and loneliness coming up, very similar to grief. I feel like I am relearning completely how to show up in my relationships. It's not easy and can feel very lonely. It's been a lot more difficult since May for some reason. I had this moment of WHO THE F AM I ?? What do I actually value? What am I looking for in my connections? .. I know it's gonna take a LOT of time and lots of space to make mistakes and learn.
