In case you didn’t already know, there’s also a white butterfly pea. Just as pretty, just as medicinal. It brews up into a pretty light golden color, and when lemon is added, the tea turns clear, almost water-like. I love both!

Put flowers in a cup. Pour hot water and steep. At this point the flowers are soft and chewy. I just ingest them and drink the tea.

I’ve been using this dried for several years. Make some and add to homemade lemonade. It’s neat to watch it change to purple and it taste amazing together. Where did you purchase your plants or seeds?

I was so excited to see this video! I planted this plant from seed, successfully had 5 plants make it, put them outside and the rabbits ate most of them. Brought them back into the greenhouse and they are doing great again. I cannot wait to use these in lemonade and for other things. To know this is great for hair and nail growth is an added bonus I had no idea about. I have super long but super fine hair that has so many fly aways. On a side note, after I brought them out of the greenhouse for the first time, I noticed the leaves were turning this silver color. Maybe my sun is too intense but like I said they are back in the greenhouse.

Another great video!!! I just love that your Mom is doing this with you; it reminds me of all the things my Mom and I did together!!! I really miss her!!! Thanks so much for sharing the love between the two of you!!! What does the tea taste like? We need more seed catalogs for medicinals.

There are very few natural foods that have a pure, cool blue color; Even blueberry pulp is purple, i.e., tinted to the red side. I wonder if this is where they got the idea for litmus paper. I have seen similar color changes with pH (acidity) in other foods like red cabbage and black Goji berries.

I see that your honey house is a green house too. Not just because of all the windows, but it's also green. Now I have been watching spring watch here in Britain, I have learnt that flowers let of heat like a human body does, so that the bees can get nectar pollen ect. But they can identify flowers by this heat & also keep warm if it's a bit cold. I have a question as well for you. I use to keep birds in many aviary's, now the birds use to fight over the next boxes if they were different colours or at different heights. Until I made them all the same colour & same height. Are bees the same when the hives are at different heights or if the hive is a different colour, will 1 hive try to take over another hive because they think the colour of the roof or walls are warmer or the height is better for them ?.

Can bees drink tea?
@nunyabiznes33
@nunyabiznes33 7 ай бұрын
I'm not a fan of the taste. It's tolerable with milk, tastes like soymilk. Got a double-flowered one that won't make pods, I think the bees can't get into it like the regular one.
