I feel that during the creature vote, people were voting for the saddle, not necessarily the creature. Mosas, plesis... they have platform saddles... what voters wanted was a functional cool submarine. This new design looks like a bad Jetsons pod. Feels like a bit of bait and switch. We'll see. Hell msybe s modder will make a better modded saddle. 😂

It is not what I was expecting! I will be intrigued to see how it'll actually function but due to it being a tek gram.. I don't think I would have have a use for it on PVE.

It's not a bait and switch because they didn't really come of with the idea. Also they explained why they had to make the changes. To me there isn't really a big difference whether the submarine saddle is on top or underneath the creature.

ASE Gacha saddle you hung underneath it's jaw in the saddle. And I'm gonna guess there's a feature to pick up tames in the saddle Via menu wheel much like the Maewing picking up babies.

ive heard that the change is because WC is using atlas code for the saddle, abandoning the og idea due to time constraints, i could be wrong however!... a tablespoon of skepticism is necessary when WC tells you the reason behind something not working.

I'm worried about meshing through the map with that saddle. What if you swim all the way to the seabed, the sub will clip through. What about up on shore, other dinos can get pretty much fully out of the water at the beach, how would that work? They will have to change the whale hitbox to include the saddle

I didn't even thing about meshing and the issues on the sea floor. It is going to be interesting to see what happens 🤔

But its underwater at all time, you will have to dive down on top of a dino and enter. What about flying mounts, you can't go underwater with these

Yes there is a door but the door is under water away from the beach as it is under the creature .... Got go diving with your tickle chicken.

I think I must be out of touch with ARK - the current like to dislike ratio on recent Ark videos makes me think I need to step back and take another look at the whole ASA scene.

Idk about premium mods, it seems the majority is taking them very well specially livyathan and anoamalocaris

I might have missed the mark on the paid mods section. I think I am leaning too much into my personal preference (which is I don't like the idea).

My biggest gripe is the original design looked realistic being aerodynamic and such this new design looks horribly designed and not practical in the slightest.
