5:00 Nobody Asked, but I happen to know so: “Executive Producer” is a title generally given to people who invest a significant amount of money into the production of the film. It’s like paying to get your name on a college library, plus a cut of the profits proportionate to your investment. “Producer/Produced by” is for the people who do the actual *producing*. Packaging, pitching, hiring department heads, putting the pieces in place, handling the money (and trying to coax more people into subscribing to the Exec Producer club), the actual LABOR to get the production up and running. There’s also the Assistant Producers, who do the same kind of work as Producers, just like… under them And Associate Producer is like an Exectuive Producer but you gave… a less substantial amount of funds to the film.

I like this phrase a lot because it implies you either have a really big mouth, a really small mattress, or you took the time to consciously and meticulously eat your mattress because otherwise it couldn't have been a mistake. All three of those options are really good.

The moment I saw the animals in the credits, I knew damn well those were the characters from Arctic Dogs. The Jeremy Renner dog, the Heidi Klum fox, the Alec Baldwin polar bear, the John Cleese walrus. This movie is literally just “Arctic Dogs: Abridged”

My god, another KZbinr/3Dtuber I enjoy directly bringing up MST3K as an influence or pointing out how similar it is to many modern react content or film critique channels? It always warms my heart, I just watched Mike's Santa Claus episode a few days ago, I loved recognizing the episodes used in the clips (both were Joel's Mitchell and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians episodes, and I watched the latter a week or two ago too). I love seeing how different creators handle a similar style/genre of video covering bad media, it's always interesting to see. It's also doubly interesting to see a movie that attempts to do what MST3K does *in their own movie,* and not very well from the look of it. It's also also _triplely_ interesting to see someone making a critique/entertaining video ABOUT the movie and showcasing it's shortcomings. You always impress and inspire with your material, you're one of the best in this space. I might just have to cash out a few bucks for a Patreon membership (and the fundraiser), so I can appreciate your complete vision for this video.

Y'know the very beginning of the first movie made me imagine a movie where there's thieves dressed as Santa and an elf and they go rob somewhere on Christmas Eve but during it they both get hit on the head and the kid of the house they're robbing convinces them they're the real Santa and an actual elf and to give their haul away. And that hokey premise I came up with in those literal five seconds that shot was on screen is already better than this entire trilogy 😂

I find your intro on reaction content interesting. This video is clearly informed commentary that is both transformative and uses only the necessary portions of the movie to get your point across. This isnt a "reaction" video, and to call it that would only be a discredit to your work. "Reaction" i would say typically refers to dumb (and immoral and illegal!) content where people will watch something for the first time, with an audience, and usually reproduce the original work in its entirety, effectively creating a market substitute.
