This song made me cry each time I listen to it because it reminds me of how much my family must had to gone through. You see I’m a cancer survivor along with my 21 year old brother. I wasn’t even a year old yet until my family found out that both me and my 2 year older brother had two different types of cancer 5 months apart.

Also, can you please react to 'Piece by Piece' by Kelly Clarkson? If you do, definitely react to the video where she performs it on American Idol! It's a stripped down version and SUPER emotional, as it's a true story about her and hers fathers relationship.

Moms going through her fourth and final battle with Cancer. Two times with Lung Cancer once with Breast Cancer and now it has spread to her brain and its metastatic...She is 74 and even if they could do surgery she wouldn't survive it....She has been my best friend through my entire life no matter who I thought was my best friend at the time...it was always her. I will miss her but I am here to love her through it. She struggles more everyday to put together coherent sentences and remember small things like words or places....I don't want sympathy I want each of you to understand that when it comes to this point YOU have to be her rock...you are what keeps her going. LOVE YOU MOM

Had to have a hysterectomy at 28. I thought my life was over back then. I survived cancer, but how could I still be a woman if you didn't have a uterus? Well, with the help of people around me, they showed me I was more than "Just a woman", more than a cancer survivor. I'm a winner. So if anybody out there needs me to, I'm gonna love you through it

Martina McBride definitely has the power to get you in your feelings. I have been a fan of hers since I saw her as an opening act for Garth Brooks in 1992. We all walked in there having no idea who she was, and walked out knowing we’d never forget her. The song that hit me the most that first time I heard her sing was Cheap Whiskey. I highly recommend that song, it still gets me in the feels to this day having been married to an alcoholic. Her whole catalog is amazing though. One of the most powerful voices in country music. For me she’s level with Reba McEntire, and I love me some Reba.

This song makes me cry everytime. My mom just got her 5 year all clear scan!! She fought breast cancer ALONE. She became a widow at 39 and as a true Italian never remarried I live far away with kids, I went home as often as I could to help her. My mom..my hero is a 3rd generation to get breast cancer and FIRST TO SURVIVE! God Bless everyone who this has touched. I will pray for all of you.

I'm going on 9yrs breast cancer survivor 🎀 I lost my left breast and after they removed it then it ruptured so I'm now left pretty scared up,I wished I would have just had them remove my right breast but at that time I was just trying to get over having brain surgery, but I've never heard that song before and it really touched my heart because I don't know how I could have survived without my family and friends, and mostly to my lord and savior Jesus Christ

It's crazy this video just came up and I had commented 3 years ago on this thread, about my friend who ended up beating Breast Cancer. Then... I was just diagnosed with Melanoma in October and thankfully, Cancer free by December, 2022! Please go to a Dermatologist and get your skin checked! I got really, REALLY lucky! #MelanomaAwareness 💛🎗💛 More of my story below: I'm 35 and have a 13 year old son. After my doctor removed the lesion to send to Pathology, he told me straight up that he thinks it is Melanoma. I know that is the worst and most aggressive Skin Cancer, so I got into my car afterwards and cried. Not for me... for my boy. I prayed and begged that if this is in fact Melanoma, that it hasn't spread and at the very least, asked to be allowed as much time as possible, to be there for my son as long as I can. My biopsy results came back and I do in fact, have Melanoma. However, mine is Superficial Spreading Melanoma in situ. So, Stage 0 Melanoma! My doctors are very optimistic and so am I! It feels strange to say I'm grateful to have the best outcome of the worst type of skin cancer. But, I am. So, so, SO grateful that I noticed something different on my left clavicle. (Collarbone.) Showed it to my primary care doctor and she referred me to Dermatology to have them look at it. At the time, it just looked like a new birthmark, which I know doesn't make sense. Lol I am SUPER pale and freckly, so I've always been taught to watch my skin and if anything is different or has changed, it's better to get it checked out. So, that's what I did. Mine hasn't spread and I can't tell you how relieved I was to learn that. Keep fighting, warriors! 💛

My momma just finished treatment, I’ve never been so emotional in my life during her struggle. Anything and everything made me cry when she was going through it. She lost her own mom to cancer and her mom was sick her entire life. I was blessed with her name as my middle name. She died 11 days after I was born, they told me that she waited for me before she could pass away. When I gave birth to my son, he had the umbilical cord twice around his neck and was grey from lack of oxygen. I truly felt my grandma in the room with me during those moments

I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma the first time in 2010. I was a divorced mom with 5 kids. My ex moved out of state and didn't see or help financially support them. He rarely even called them. I had been dating someone for several years when I was diagnosed. He started cheating on me and left after I got sick. If it weren't for my aunts helping me (both of my parents are deceased) I don't know how my kids and I would have made it. I was diagnosed a second time a year later and had to have part of a lung removed and a stem cell transplant. Thankfully, I've been in remission for about 6 years now. :)
