I've battled with my trumpet playing addiction for about a decade, after getting peer pressure from my band friends in middle school. I was going through a rough time in my life at the time, with my father being an abusive acoustiholic who always had a guitar in his hand, and my mom getting hooked on tambourines just to escape from the pain. I guess I was doing the same. I just quit recently by switching to playing flutes instead, which is known to help people get off of trumpet addictions. I'm 3 months trumpet free. :)

Steven Smoking kills people and affects anyone downwind, especially those with asthma If the joke in the video was the reality it wouldn’t be that bad because sound isn’t harmful except to those who are particularly sensitive to loud noises. And even then, you could just learn to ignore it, drown it out with other noise, or get some sort of ear muffs. How would smoking be preferable to trumpets

I grew up in a trumpethouse. My parents would build trumpets, and my ears got second hand trumpet, and by the age of three, I was addicted. Trumpeting made me feel amazing. I would get the jitters without my trumpet. We would also build and sell trumpets, but eventually the cops found out what we were doing, and they shot up our house!
