Use acrylic to fill the curved space and attach them instead, since you have flat nails. You could even fill in the underside of the tip to make it stronger since you’re using nail tips with more c-curve than your natural nails. That way you’re not having to press the curved nail tip flat to your nail. Just my 2 cents.

I love it when you laugh. It's one of my favorite sounds. Thanks for this informative video.

I’ve seen other people secure their full cover nails with a layer of acrylic instead of using nail glue I’m wondering how long does that really last because I always do my feet with acrylic and I’ve mastered it but I have yet to do my hands I work a lot so I really wanted to do something that was going to be quick but sturdy

I’ve done that method and had it last 3 weeks if you prep you natural nails well.

This is how I regularly apply my full-cover nails. I've done it with both acrylic and polygel. Once the nail is on, I actually go over top of it with either a polygel, or an acrylic, and you can't tell me that I didn't go to the salon. I can keep my set on for over a month. It's fast, and I am SO hard on my hands, I haven't had one nail fall off. Just make sure you prep your nails well, and scuff the underside of the full-cover nail.

Hey Evie Great video as usual. I work at a tech company where all I do is type all day and I keep long nails. It's actually harder for me to type with no nails.

I work in a kitchen, so I use press ons but wear gloves. But going to start wearing nail tips with gel polish. I love having my nails done makes me feel confident xx

I’m a childminder, trust me when I say I don’t think I could do it *without* nails! They’re not super long, probably the length of these press ons, but having that acrylic stopping my nails bending is everything to me!! I hate the feeling of my natural nails bending, and love having pretty designs on my nails, so nails are essential. I’m my own boss, so I can have them as long as I like, but my personal preference is fairly short so I can still play and paint etc.

Like a nail shield! I used to load trucks. Heavy, weird shaped stuff. If I didn't have nails on, the gloves we had to wear would rip off my natural nail. I know what you mean

Don't wear nails, don't even paint my nails that often. Can't watch the cuticle prep, but do enjoy watching the rest of it, such a talent.

I like what you are doing. At first I thought you were going to dip your nails ? Then I wondered how far in you would have to dip to get above the the press on. You have a great skill of doing your own acrylic nails. They look really nice.

I started following you when I was having to do my own nails and even now I’m back getting them at the salon I still come and watch. Thankfully I’m self employed now so nails can be whatever I want. Wow amazing nails especially for non dominant hand! You made those press ons look a million bucks! 💕

I just started doing acrylic a little over a year now, my husband just bought me the whole set to do gels, all different acrylic color powders and the wraps for acrylic to make your own nail. I never done that or the gel yet so watching your videos really help me. Btw im a new sub!
