Yeah he was actually just a really big and tall Palestinian six foot nine based on the historical description and scholarly opinion from a family also endowed with imposing physical stature and size but not like an actual mutant size lol. Samuel was supposed to be 6 foot tall, so just for comparison sake here, he was about average in todays world but probably on the tall side of normal in biblical Judea times, and 6 ft 9 is tall surely but like professional athlete height, he'd be shorter than a lot of NBA players. Idk it always kind of scares me the most "religious" people are rge ones who seem to be of severely low IQ, and understand next to nothing about the religion they are basing their every opinion and perception of the world on, it's frightening

So to go after religious people just seems kind of odd. The truth is most people are f****** dumb regardless of what they believe. I will say that it's not just religion that talks about Giants, every single old civilization in existence spoke of and documented large human beings. In my home town in Ireland, an unknown, unrecorded graveyard was discovered during motorway roadworks - several hundred remains were found, most dated over 1,000 years old, with the most recent being a relatively youthful 800 years old or so. It's not like the soil there is even particularly good at preserving remains, as some boggy soils are - but those hundreds of people, forgotten to time, just lay there since even before the Vikings founded Dublin in 982 (if I recall correctly). People who say that bones decay in just a few decades are deeply mistaken.

And what is the benefit of denying giant humans? I mean what is the risk of letting that knowledge get out if humans were much larger in the past. I mean, let’s just say, for arguments sake, that this nutcase is right. Let’s just all agree that humans were giant in the past. OK there we go humans are giant in the past, what kind of threat or danger does this knowledge pose? Wouldn’t it seem to be more likely to be the giant lizards roamed the earth? Even if you believe what she’s saying, her argument makes no sense there’s no reason to hide if people were huge in the past why would that matter maybe they got smaller like you know when you go put socks in the dryer and it shrinks maybe we are the shrinky dinks. Funnily enough, my grandpa and I did find and help dig up a fair amount of bones. We had found what looked like a piece of dead wood jutting out from the side of a creek and my grandpa (who loves woodworking and collecting unique pieces of wood) wanted to dig it out. Turns out it was a tusk. We called some specialists and they had a professor named Daniel Fisher come to help dig more out. Found most of a skeleton there. Turns out it was a mastodon, a relative of the mammoth. Pretty fun experience for me in 3rd grade. Even cooler is that my grandpa was allowed to keep one of the teeth, which was the size of my head.

In terms of connections, I had someone I looked up to for the major years of my life who I got to work alongside with, and they took me under their wing and taught me so many things. Even though I'm no longer in the country I had originally worked, we still do talk. I traveled to numerous states such as Nevada and Utah to go see the behind the scenes and what they have stored behind their walls. I have connections with them, as well. I'm currently in college studying Biology, towards paleontology, before moving to go to seek actual paleo classes (since Asia doesn't have any. If you're wondering what my job was actually like, you can actually find me on the HMNS Instagram page, where I was part of an interview for Employee with Disabilities Month!! I still talk to and think of my lab mates fondly, and we still talk to this day, even though it's been a year now that I've departed. One good reason why she hasn't found a dinosaur skeleton in her backyard is that the conditions to make a fossil are extremely rare. They have to be buried very quickly and in the right sediment. And August you are partially correct. Fossils are indeed like casts of bone but there can still be 60% or more organic material left in the specimen. This is how we have found dna in soft tissues preserved inside tyrannosaur bones.

as a sea glass collector, i'm constantly finding fossils of sea creatures out of lake michigan when i'm not even looking for them - not dinosaur bones, but still great evidence of extinct life. this lady had my eyes bulging out of my head with her "why haven't you or i found a bone?"!!

I'm a sea glass collector in England, l actually met someone who thought it was made by sea creatures ( sort of mermaids l think ) and it wasn't just broken bottles worn down by sand and tide! ( Loads of it here around dock walls especially near old sailors pubs, and some pubs go back hundreds of years )

My mom has found many fossils in northern BC. Lots and lots of shells way up there in the mountains in BC. Many of them are ammonites in fairly pristine condition. This woman would platz if she was told that at one time my whole massive province was under water. I mean, basic science is just too hard for her apparently.

@ditzygypsy fossils can be so common i literally remember buying a juvenile otodus obliquus tooth and a mid cretaceous ammonite and they werent that expensive, they also were very detailed casts. Like, you could literally feel the exact shape of the root and enamel of the tooth kinda detailed. Still grateful to have these 2 works of art with me

@@laural3738 No but there's no freshman-level paleontology class; you have to take prerequisites like biology and geology first, and if you've gotten that far and still believe anything like batty b is saying, well you still have to keep paying tuition, so there's that. I guess theoretically you could go all the way and get a doctorate in paleontology, having passed all the coursework and field work without ever letting slip that you think it's actually fake government propaganda ...... if someone did that I'd be pretty impressed, lol.

@cheyenne11114

The power in the background definitely exists though. Just because this waste of a brain believes that dinosaurs are fake doesn't mean that there isn't a shadowy group of wealthy elites hiding certain truth from us. It isn't long ago that these same people produced the documentary "Reefer madness" where some of the best and brightest scientists and doctors of the time stood up and said that marijuana would make you go insane to the point that you would murder your family. They obviously knew that this wasn't true but it happened anyways. To assert that there isn't a control on knowledge is kind of ridiculous
