The idea of someone with cancer using tanning beds that much during treatment is WILD to me like she wasn’t even trying to look sick

I can’t believe no one is talking about this! It baffles me. Like, I couldn’t tell if that was her natural skin tone and if it isn’t, why isn’t anyone talking about it? It’s wild to me that she thinks faking cancer will bring her family closer together. When my little brother got cancer, my entire family’s dynamics changed. I have never felt more isolated from my loved ones than when my mother had to quit her job to take my brother to chemo and suddenly my best friend was in too much pain to play with me anymore. My dad had to work to pay for the treatments, my mom was preoccupied with taking care of my brother, and I had to take up responsibility and raise my little sister and give her the attention my parents could not. Cancer tests families, and I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.

As someone who lost their mother and grandfather to cancer, a grandmother and aunt who went through cancer, this just enrages me, like how could anyone go this low? I don’t understand, Cancer is a Hell nobody should have to deal with, so the fact that she did this, is just disgusting, plus this was no mistake, this was calculated, she knew exactly what she was doing, and I’m 98% sure she’s sorry she got caught, because I’m fairly certain if she never got busted, she would have kept going with this, because it kept the money flowing, like her attorney calls that a “mistake” what kind of “ mistake”was that?! And I’m pretty sure by “ she wants to move on” actually means… she just wants everyone to forget about it, but Swoop is giving me, “ goddess of the night vibes” I love it

Losing two grandparents to cancer one year after another, then seeing a woman fake it for financial gain and social media fame boils my blood beyond description
@limarba9062 Жыл бұрын
When she first revealed her “cancer diagnosis” she began by talking about how her brother had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She said that she decided to get tested for that as well and then found out that she had “pancreatic cancer”. I wonder if she was somehow trying to upstage her brother and get more attention. I’m not saying that was her only motivation, though.

My grandma survived throat cancer. I can’t imagine how she, my grandpa, or my dad felt, but I know how I felt. It was genuinely heartbreaking to see the vibrant woman I looked up to my whole life lose so much weight, and look so fragile. She can’t eat anymore, and needs a feeding tube. So to see someone fake such a terrible illness that almost took my beloved grandma is too disgusting for words

Thank you so much for cutting off Maddie's self-serving statement - as soon as she started with the "How hard this is for me," BS, I felt sick. No word about the people she harmed - still trying to paint herself as a victim, to the point of trying to get the judgment deferred. It's about time people learned about consequences and in my eyes, she got off far too lightly. Prayers for the genuine victims who were impacted by her callousness.

My mom died of cancer when I was in high school. It was a years long process. Anyone who's known and seen cancer knows what a horrific illness it is, for patient and family both. Anyone that would pretend to have such an illness for financial benefit via the kindness and empathy from people who know the illness is reprehensible. I feel like she got off WAY too easily for all she did.

I knew a girl in my highschool class that faked cancer. She would manipulate people to give her rides or hang out with her saying it could be their last time seeing her. It took a WHILE for the lies to unravel but when they did I confronted her and let her know how terrible it is to prey on people's empathy like that especially since a lot of us knew people who actually had cancer and died from it, and I hate confrontation, but in this case I was compelled to say something.

Something that really struck me about this was it all being rooted in her brother being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I've been type 1 diabetic for 7 years, and it is a physical, mental and emotional battle I wouldn't wish on anyone. I honestly think she lied about her diagnosis, too, and that is so beyond disgusting. Yes, the bigger issue here is her faking cancer and this isn't a make it about me and my chronic illness post. But I do think this should be acknowledged as part of the grossness and gravity of her actions. Faking ANY illness is not okay

So something that you talked about but really gave me the SHHHHHHHIIIIIIIITTTTTTTSSSSS as a medical professional is her “hair loss treatment” thing. You talked about the hope it would give people, I immediately saw the medical danger of “untested interactions could lessen the effects of medical treatment”. Now I don’t know the exact products she used and I don’t work with cancer unless they have a dual diagnosis of my field so I can’t outline specifics. But something a lot of people don’t realise is that over the counter things can interact with treatment, it’s why we always ask what supplements or other things you’re taking

I am currently going through chemotherapy after having had two surgeries due to a very rare type of ovarian cancer. It is such a trauma to go through, both having to deal with your body changing and being scared of dying. That someone would fake this illness is so offensive. I have found so much support and love in a fellow cancer patient. You often feel so alone and having others going through something similar (remember every cancer patient is different) that you can connect with means so much. I would think that other cancer patients might have found some comfort in following another "cancer patient" on their social media. It must be devastating for them to realize she made such a mockery of what they are going through. Absolutely heartbreaking. To my brothers and sisters fighing cancer, I wish you have all the support you need to survive this❤

Her mother kept trying to figure out what the hell was going on but this rat refused to elaborate on anything and deliberately kept her own mother in the dark about the true nature of her condition. Extra mean spirited and harmful, I’d say, when her mother finds out through instagram that she “has cancer” and the brat refuses to tell her mom what’s going on or even let her bring a hot meal over. She told her “you can help me best by staying away” so I don’t even believe her little line about “bringing her family back together.” Just another pathological lie of hers to save her stupid ass from consequences.
